No matter what these domestic companies are saying, these are made in China. They are being bulk purchased, probably at wholesale prices and then sold domestically.
You need coding for it to work, it's under "Rear Electronic Module > Daytime running light rear light (inner / outer) part"

Hey man! Your f80 is absolutely gorgeous. I hope to be able to pick one up myself in the next year or 2. A unique spec like yours is exactly what I want. Either your color or atlantis / tanzanite. Did you order yours brand new? I have been scanning the used market for a while and its hard to find a individual spec in a 6 speed.
I bought it used with 9k miles on it. I saw it at carmax and jumped on it! Honestlt the manual is hard to find.. Exterior color is hard but then it gets even harder when you look for the interior
Will be nice to compare OEM VS aftermarket ones side by side.

When u break, where is the "break light" on the trunk portion of Bayoptiks lights? Is this how lights come or maybe a connector missing at install? Let me know.

How come when you braked, only the outer light lit up? The v2s are suppose to light up both lights?

I love the videos. Would you know if installation on the 4 series (F32) would be identical? The Bayoptics cost is close to double for the 4 series and I'm wondering if there is a change of harness required for this.

Sorry man but these "OLED" tail lights" are ALL Chinese. Only Genuine BMW is made in Europe. These are good for what they are.

I wish I could go back 3 months ago, this guy was selling a individual color m4 fully loaded, it was manual too!! It was like a purple color 2016 m4 and he had the oem gts lights installed im fucking upset I wish I knew what I was looking at

No it won't! Just the start up function if you unlock the car during the night

Haha no they dont unless you turn on your parking lights or standard lights
you can code your taillights to turn on all the time via bimmercode. It's called DRL rears
@@djzaki wait so having DRL on would not work ? that means auto will not work.
also what do you mean the start sequence doesn't always happen during unlock?
If I press unlock on the keyfob, the starting sequence doesn't always turn on?
@@bryhsiao so with the drl on it will always work. But, when unlocking it only works if it is set to automatic lights or headlights on and it is night. Like the welcome lights.. If the toggle is on zero it does not show up
@@djzaki wow so if it's set to auto and during the day, the start sequence will not trigger. I wonder if coding of DRL of the tail light will help..

I think everyone sees that they're exactly the same! If you don't mind waiting for it longer and any sort of warranty it's perfect. I paid more just for the ease of mind!

wouldnt buy from china. good point. but the thing is most of these are made in china. the only different is you buy from china yourself. there wont be warranty, but you may save some money. or you can buy locally, which these get imported buy some company from china then sell to you with added price. i guess as long as you could find good quality product from china. cuz after all, you never know those local warranty really works anyway.

They are available for pre-order now at euroactive retrofits. I think they are based out of Australia. I just don't know about quality. Living in Houston, I'm worried of the weather seal giving out.

How did you get the RPM to display on the HUD? Is this an LCI thing? Never mind this is an M car! Haha!
Lci thing i believe when you choose am m profile youre able to customize between the normal speed limit one and the rpm gauge! Try going into your cars driver settings to customize your m profile and see if youre able to switch it
I think I'd be talking soft too if that's what my car looked like, just so I dont scratch the paint with my voice
