Then they announced it would be coming out with the DM 30th anniversary in August, so yeah I'd been waiting months for it. TBF I think I might prefer the original for it's chorus. I think Liam doing the verses and Noel doing the chorus would be amazing. Liams voice in 92,93 was angelic, you should hear the 93 acoustic of Up In The Sky.
This is a demo version with Liam on vocals recorded at Mark Coyles house on an 8 track. Coyle was a roadie with Noel for the Inspiral Carpets. They also recorded the Definitely Maybe version of Married With Children at Mark Coyles house. This new version of Definitely Maybe which is released this week has all these demos plus the scrapped version of the album which was recorded at Monnow Valley in Wales. Nobody was happy with this version of the record and Alan McGee got some more money from Sony and told the band to go and record it again, this time at Sawmills studio in Cornwall. Watch the new interview with Noel that came out last week, very interesting.
Just announce the reunion already! I’ve not been able to sleep. Oasis were the band that got me into music. Slide Away was my first dance at my wedding. Oasis have been there through my formative years and all of my adulthood. Can’t wait to see them again but now with my wife. Excited…a little 😊

On Dave prefer Liam's vocals. Noel said in later Oasis days he's the better singer but Liam has the better voice. Although he recently said in the DM days, when he sang it sounded good and when Liam sang it sounded great- that's why Liam sang all the songs on DM (non Japan version) Earliest Noel vocals I can think of are Sad Song, Take Me Away and Dya Wanna Be A Spaceman- a rare track where Liam sang the backing vocals, which sound great. This doesnt include Noels early solo songs from 89, which he probably wished didnt leak online. I'll shut up now, cheers!
