This Chanel and the panel Herbert brings in is the best. I don’t really care about the noise from wall street and media. The discussions, thoughts and the information that comes out of the panel is invaluable. It is very difficult to make someone believe in the trajectory of Tesla and the wealth it is going to create for investors. From the bottom of my heart, I appreciate everything you guys have been doing for us believers in Elon and Tesla.

Have a question I'd be interested to hear your view on.
There’s a lot of talk about people deciding against a Tesla due to Elon being Elon. Hard to know the exact impact, but here in Sweden it’s certainly a factor. Tesla doing pretty well here, though. Despite the strikes.
But another factor I’ve been thinking about, is the marketing efforts done by Tesla owners. Not much advertising done, so people spreading the word has likely been a significant factor in Tesla’s success.
I used to do it, but have honestly stopped. Every other conversation ended up as a discussion on Elon, and it just wasn’t fun any more.
Not a topic I’ve seen a lot of discussion on. But I have a nagging feeling it’s a bigger part of the demand issue than we might hope.
What do you think?
I would like to offer my opinion on Elon. I personally love the guy. I don't know everything he's ever said so can't say I agree with everything. I look at it like this. We all have friends or family that we sometimes disagree with. It doesn't mean we hate them. We just disagree and move on.
I have a relative who believes face diapers work because she didn't get Covid. No matter how many facts and studies you show them, their mind is made up. It's the same with Elon and EVs in general. They read some biased article five years ago, or someone on TikTok called Elon a racist, and now their opinion is set in stone.
Elon is doing massive damage to the Tesla brand with his Twitter escapades. Probably even more so in Europe than in the USA. If he had paid more attention to Tesla's core business (cars) and reputation, 14,000 people would not have to be laid off. I know how I will vote on the compensation plan.
Ditching some People once in a while at a big Company like Tesla is totally normal and happens All the Time with companies this Big

I agree with Jeff that the next new EVs that Tesla sells to the public will not be sold for $25k because Tesla said that this “hybrid” EV won’t have all of the cost savings as the fully un-boxed next generation $25k EVs.

There's a difference between doing bad analysis and lying. I've no doubt they heard from suppliers that orders were canceled and heard of meetings where nextgen production plans were scrapped.
It was just shoddy journalism. If you want to file a libel suit, you have to prove intent.
Look in essence Reuters' report was factually correct the Robotaxi as explained via the previous earnings report is on the back burner and won't be in the picture until the Mexican Giga factory is built and that's TBA!!
Then they have to prove that they are making the Model 2. And Tesla can’t prove that because they have delayed or cancelled it. Tesla gave no answer on the Model 2 in the earnings call.
If they can’t prove it, they will lose such a lawsuit and the stock would literally crash and Elon could be sued for laying.
It’s a lose lose situation for Tesla and Elon.
And if they could prove it, sales would plummet in expectation for the Model 2.
Many of you guys have a weird view of what lying is vs what changing plans is. 🤦♂️
Guys, they will not be utilizing the Unboxed Method. They said that in the earnings call, and Ron Barron said that in the interview you played.
They will be making the new vehicles on existing lines, yielding new vehicles without the full capital outlay.

8/8 Needs to avoid Osborne of Y. 3 is already safe because it’s premium since the refresh. My bet is on 8/8 we see Juniper. That’s ONE of the new models.

I'm assuming for Robotaxi they will need to incorporate toll costs into the drive as well, and ensure the passenger pays for that?
When drive by wire and brake by wire are in full production quantities for all the product lines the cyber taxi could have recessed steering yolk and pedals that would be electronically ignored while in taxi mode. This would allow all capable Tesla cars to be seamlessly used in the taxi business. Owner mode geo fencing would be a part of the taxi system to support personal owner preferences 😊

Elon did not say he would give OEM’s FSD for free. He said he is OPEN to such deals, not specifically THIS deal. Do not worry.

Some analysts don’t know how to put “higher than last year” in a spreadsheet.
Weeks ago when V12 became reality it success blew me away. I knew that this would be a step change for Tesla. V12 success told me that Net to Net Neural Network Photons to Actions will benefit both FSD and Tesla Bot. Then hearing about the compute progress was another super future. I have never felt better about my xx88 shares of Tesla. Thanks Elon for not being so doom and Gloom. I feel so good that all the parts are coming together
There’s no way FSD would be licensed for free.
There is no need for the Robotaxi vehicle to have a dashboard, console and front facing seats, so IMO, the "cybercab' will be a totally different type of vehicle, even capable of easily accommodating some handicapped people with _4-legged_ helpers. Think: club seating ?
Which processes or features are they adding to MY production line first? 48v ?, DrivebyWire? Unboxed?
My WAG is the valley between pressured EV fundamentals, where we are now, and autonomy, will dominate investors’ minds again. Which = pressure on the stock will resume.
Headline NEWS (copied from CNBC ) on TESLA Auto pilot: Federal regulator finds Tesla Autopilot has ‘critical safety gap’ linked to hundreds of collisions. Federal authorities say a “critical safety gap” in Tesla’s Autopilot system contributed to at least 467 collisions, 13 resulting in fatalities.
The findings come from a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration analysis of 956 crashes in which Tesla Autopilot was thought to have been in use.
Tesla’s Autopilot design has “led to foreseeable misuse and avoidable crashes,” the NHTSA report said.

Herbert could you guys make a short video with a list of everything we Tesla investors can do to make Tesla grow. I think about something like a comtest between the viewers about making the bestcadd, which we then all can share/spread on RUclips , Facebook and X. Giving private rides in our Teslas. Spreading the word about Tesla solar roof, insurance, powerwall etc . How to best collect data for FSD. I think your channel would be the perfect one to get this rolling .
Price cuts because it was an awful 1st quarter and the outlook is not good for 2024. Tesla Gene Munster even said, after the earnings call, that 2024 is a throw away year and the stock probably fades over the next 2 weeks!
Some analysts just look at the numbers, while others look at the numbers and listen to what is said.

Check with your bank / broker. You should, but some make it cumbersome.

@@Hiltsuk1 Some others who use them tried to call them out on X already. They should see with their USD clearing house how to participate. There are online options now, we are not living in the middle ages anymore. So please insist, and try to get to the bottom of it. Ask them who their USD clearing house is. And what it would take to participate. And whether they vote in your name, if you can't.

What are the facility operational costs for the robotaxi home base HUB?
Are the robotaxi wireless charged or is there a robotic automated charging and cleaning system? Or will there be human staffed cleaning and charging staff?
Will these robotaxi hubs also service private owned FSD for cleaning and charging?
And if there's plans for a HUB will there be an option for FSD non robotaxi owners to use this as a paid service, which addresses some of the charging station issues, but also accommodate FSD owners that don't want home charging or are not allowed to install charging, or travelers from out of state etc...
This will get people used to EV, FSD, and the idea of non owner vehicles, especially in inclement weather.

I tend to agree with Jeff's analysis for the next two years. But the market conditions look as though they are here to stay for most of 2024. So what will the market's reaction be to a reduced devalued urbanised MY and M3 with smaller battery, lower range and less powerful motors but with as many bells and whistles eg 48v wiring etc. maybe even steer by wire. But will it meet current SH and WS enthusiasm since the earnings call???
When I look at the RUclips drone videos of the enormous construction / expansion activity at the Austin factory, I have to ask, "Is this a company that looks worried about their future?" The obvious answer is no. I'd be worried if the bulldozers and cranes were leaving, but that's not the case.

The ANALysts MISSED that 1st Quarter 2023 was driven by the initial price cuts. I bought my 2023 Model Y during that time. To expect a further growth over that prior quarter is LUNACY.
Drew Baglino sold all his shares I guess he doesn't believe in autonomy.
Drew exercised 4M options
He sold 1.4M shares, which is about right to cover taxes on the options.
So this is just converting options to HODL'd shares.
Looking forward to an explosion of bot feasibility studies and project analysis.
Bots in space is my personal favorite followed by deep ocean bot resource resource management. 😊
With very little effort modified human capable exploration and mining equipment can be optimized for bot usage to allow almost unlimited time in places that compare to deep ocean floor exploration and recovery.
Regarding Wall St. analysts cutting Tesla target price, don't you think these "analysts" are just judging from prior Wall St. response to Tesla after earnings call? Which has in the past meant the stock goes down.

Are you out of your mind? Unconstrained demand? Have you been to a Tesla surface center location? Back when I bought my car there was a Tesla in the lot now it’s overflowing. There is strain demand.
New M3 for the US and Cybertruck. Both carry significant unconstrained demand in the US that cannot be met w/current supply for multiple quarters now

I think that Robo taxi will start out with people riding in the driver seat at first in either their own car and also tesla will have their own cars and have their own drivers. This will help with them feel more comfortable until they get the network figured out.
