I am also "old"... Over 30 years ago I asked gently if they had anything to cure hemorrhoids. And of course they took out the microphone and said: "Non-prescripted medication for hemorrhoids as soon as you can to the cashier." Very sad, but a true story. 🙂

In the u.k we hear the south African accent as bossy , same as the accent from Germany
