- Hi,
I hope you are having a wonderful weekend! Apologies for the later upload today, I am currently in the Netherlands with family and I try to be as present as possible.
I planned on filming a St. Tropez vlog for you but at the beginning of the trip I realized it was a big party trip so was not able to shoot a lot of content on the parties. Anyway, as much I love going out and dancing I needed a few days back in Amsterdam to reset and recover. Sometimes after traveling or just going out I can feel bloated, tired and just not myself.
In this self care vlog I wanted to share some rituals that really help me feel my best self again. I hope you enjoy it!
Much Love,
X Sanne

Creamy Noodle Soup w/ a twist Recipe:
Ingredients:
2 small chicken thighs
1/4 yellow onion, chopped
1 small carrot, chopped
1 celery stalk, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 tbsp ginger, minced (optional)
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 bay leaf
1 1/2 cups vegetable broth
1/2 cup light coconut milk
4 oz dry rice noodles
3/4 tsp salt1/2 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp parsley, chopped
Method:
In a medium pot over medium-high heat, sear chicken thighs skin-side down for 5 minutes until golden. Meanwhile, chop the onion, carrot, celery, and mince the garlic and ginger. Remove the chicken.
Sauté the onion, carrot, and celery for 5 minutes until softened. Add the garlic, ginger, and Italian seasoning, and cook for 2 more minutes until fragrant. Return the chicken to the pot, add vegetable broth, coconut milk, and a bay leaf. Ensure the chicken is covered by the liquids, adding more broth if needed.
Bring to a boil, then simmer for 30 minutes until the chicken is tender. Cook the rice noodles according to package instructions.
Shred the chicken, discarding the skin if desired, and return it to the pot. Season with salt and pepper. Serve with noodles, garnish with parsley, and enjoy!

Your vlogs are so positive, just watching one before starting the day is a complete motivation🤍🐻❄️
You‘re so right about the importance of balance, both for the sake of our body and our mind! Loved the video, perfect for a rainy Sunday motivation boost😍
I love the step one. And the qualifier of “I know you don’t want to but trust me,” haha so on point. I will trust you and get ready as well! Thank you for the inspiration, Sanne! ❤
That is why I like to watch your vieeos - you stay authentic and show the real life and that it is ok not to be always “perfect” and on track .. so refreshing! 🎉
so glad you enjoyed it!!
Thanks Sanne! I have been in a bit of a slump lately. It is such a great reminder to start with the little things that will get you back into a healthy routine. & you are completely right; body self care really does help the mind
🤗💖🌟
100%, sometimes it's the small things than can really help you slowly to get back into it. Have compassion and take the little step!
Your are so so so pretty Sanne!! I love seeing all your tips for self care!!
I love this. Because sometimes I get the feeling we live in this all or nothing culture and 'I don't ever drink', etc world that is so wtf. I am the same. I love my routine and generally healthy lifestyle but I also have fun and enjoy in the moments with friends. After more then 3 days I already crave my routines but also having a good time is such an important part for your soul and mind. To know that it's ok and then like you said, take it easy and don't be too hard on yourself. You are so real and sweet
Loved your How I Reset, DeBloat and Self Care vlog Sanne ❤❤❤❤❤
This is such important self care info and inspo. You said it so well;balance and not overcompensating are the keys to living well. I think the guilt we may feel when stepping away from routines is this idea that we have to be perfect in our daily habits without interruption to be healthy as part of our WELNESS commitment and identity. Thank you Sanne, for making every vlog relatable and for leaving room to offer ourselves some grace ❤
So well said!!
Self care after a night out is soooo real haha thanks for sharing !!
Thank you for sharing this - very relatable!
Incredible how you can tell by your skin that you’ve not been your usual self 100% for a few days 😊 I’ve been travelling so much since the beginning of the year, got back a week ago from Antibes just along from St Tropez and back from a few days in London last night and feel eugh after eating out so much although they do have a Wholefoods Market in London which is amazing! I’ve been putting off getting back in to it but after seeing your video I feel motivated…thanks for showing that even the best of us take a break now and again and you just need to start back slow 🥰 I know you’ll have done one, but another video on keeping ‘on track’ while away would be great. I find our travelling very disruptive to my home routine and everything goes right out the window when we are away.
Yum my skin always shows immediately if I don't take proper care of myself, its trying to say something haha
Thank you for this one! ❤Looking forward to the next vlog🧡💛
Thanks so much for this video Sanne! It was really helpful
My comfort channel ❤
That was what I needed. Thank u❣
Loved this vlog so much! It came up just in time for me after a long weekend of partying in Brussels - great inspo for coming back to my routines and a great reminder to ease back into them
My therapy session is here❤🌱🧘🏻♀️
I'm loving the white outfit vibe. I need that tank top in my life. Love your vlogs and approach to wellness. xx Take care :)
Thank you Sanne, love this vlog alot! Is one of my top fav vlogs of yours. Is something I have been seeking for awhile especially when returned back from travel or can be useful for detoxing for me. I like the simple tips you shared at the end about resetting and overcompensation, is something I may forgot sometimes but you reminded me how. loving it!
Sanne! What a great vlog! Loved it, thank you! And yes, I do feel that sometimes, especially as it correlates to my passion and work, as I'm a writer. If I don't write on my "work" days and I don't do the daily wellness routines that goes with it, I do feel a bit of guilt sometimes, but just like you said, balance is really important. And especially for me, I've found that as a writer who's also a woman, my process is a lot less linear/yang/masculine focused as is the prominent culture of "getting the pages in everyday" or in this case doing the wellness routine everyday. And like you said, quite often in those off-routine moments are when I find the most profound, deep and paradigm-shifting inspirations and the most fun and memorable times in my life. So, I love that we are kind of going through a similar thing, as I was just thinking this yesterday as well. Thank you again for a wonderful and thoughtful vlog! 💖✨
Sanne, I really enjoyed this video. I believe it's important regardless of schedules, trips, or whatever that anyone should do a reset at least once a month. This way when life calls us for trips for vacation, business trips, hang out with girl friend trips, etc....our bodies will be better to endure whatever comes our way. Also as we become older it becomes harder. Not that you are older but we have to be ready and how we take care of ourselves while younger will determine how we will feel and look when we are older. Im sure you get what I'm saying.
I think we need to give ourselves some grace! I love my routine and my healthy lifestyle, but it's so important for the soul to get out and have some fun with our friends. FYI, it does get A LOT harder to feel like yourself again after a night out, but it's great to have those moments and memories to look back on as well! ❤❤❤
Sanne whenever you posts a new vlog it's put a huge smile on my face..😀😀💕💕 and I really really can't wait to watch this vlog you are my truly truly inspiration🥹✨
Oh yes, I also do feel guilty when I do something not very healthy. But it gives me the inspiration to take care of myself even more. I think if it happens once in a while it's ok. Sometimes we need to let ourselves go, a little moment without pushing ourselves. Importante is to return to a healthy lifestyle and being in control. You are ok Sanne, you really are 😊😘
I love your recipes they are so delicious!
I enjoy it a lot ❤❤
Love your vlogs ❤
Happy Saturday Sanne
Such an inspiring video 🎉❤😊
love this , sometimes I feel frustrated that I don't feel my normal self , but see this video let me understand that its totally normal and everyone go through it it takes time , we just need to be patience and kind with ourself when we feel low
So true! I just always notice my mood changing so much and by changing my physical my mental changes!
Yes Barcelona! Let your fans know😄🥰💕
This is also great advice for when you’re getting over a cold. I think we tend to try to jump back into our routine quickly, but we can often use more rest than we think. Definitely trying the soup! Looked delicious. 😊
You are the beste!!!
Thanks Sanne❤❤❤
The soup looks delicious! 🤍
I think it’s definitely the next day talks that have that guilt because if you were physically ok you wouldn’t be thinking that way ✨
But it was lovely and you had fun. That balance is important. A nice tip for the lymphatic massage. Instead of just pushing downwards. Try clock wise from right to left making a semi sort of square/circle down. Where your digestion happens. I did a massage once and she mentioned that to me. I usually do it in the shower as well where your body is warm and feeling relaxed and you can put a bit of soap that slips and is lovely. It helps a lot.
Loved your self-care routine. You are always lovely ❤️
Ps: just joined the SoulSyncBody 😍 can’t wait to try the soup.
Much love
Washing my whole body can do wonders for me too❤ lymphatic massage is a thing, thank you for sharing
So many great reminders. Thanks Sanne:)
thanks for your helpful and honest video!:) Would love a travel essentials video again🙈 - did you manage to find a jewelry box for travels since your last video about it? and since you travel a lot which blender (as the Beast doesn't work in other countries) and steamer do you take with you if you do? do you still use the same bags and essentials (I guess still the same foldable foam roller ? ) with you like you did a year ago?
I'm going to travel soon so would love to use your tips:)
Thank you for recipe ❤❤❤
❤
So real! Thank you.
Great video
After marriage, I am less energetic in social situations.. as in , little introverted. Insecurity, responsibility overload , a sense of boundaries, causes me to feel this way. I want to be other way around though! I want to feel perfect after marriage
Thank you for sharing Sanne:) I so wish we all get rid of the guilty feeling after having fun!
❤
Precies wat ik nodig had na vier dagen Ibiza!
😍😍😍
great video! 😍 For the upper leg massage, place one hand on the inside of your leg and one hand on the back of your leg. Gently massage from the inside of your leg toward your hip and the side of your body, moving further down your leg and repeating these steps until you’ve massaged your way to your knee. Then, gently massage from your knee up the side of your body :)
Saint tropez ❤
Hello Sanne! In legs you should do it in the oposite direction, i mean from the toe up to hip!
oh yes!!! I did it after but realized didnt show in the video oeps
Squeeeeeze and press 😂❤️
Thank you
Ps, love the no mascara look on you 😊
Off topic

O m g Sanne literally today I have after party struggling and you post a video - this is insane ❤🎉
I was recently watching the Ralph Lauren fall-winter 2015, which you opened by coincidence, and omg you were soooo good as a model!!!
That came of perfectly in time I am super bloated
❤
You Are True Inspiration
Happiest Saturday, YT fam! Wishing everyone a fabulous day. ❤
I love you so much. You are my absolute favourite ❤😊
Can you please share where your tri-hoop earrings are from? Been looking for some like those!
They are so old, I can't remember the brand :( sorry!
Is the lymphatic massaging supposed to feel uncomfortable? Not sure if I’m doing it right lol
Would you give us a house tour of your cute apartment in Amsterdam sometime in the future ?
Hi, can you shoot a short video focused on stretching with a roller? Is the smooth roller without the bumps also suitable?
Darn I'm always bloated 😮
Thank you sanne!
this video was so useful and again thank you for sharing!❤️
by the way i think you are very harsh on your hair for washing😂
I think itˋs so weird, that in a lot of countries you canˋt drink tap water. I live in Germany, where it is completely normal!
Hi Sanne. Please remember to do your legs from your foot and up. It makes sure that all the waste materials can get out. Otherwise it will all go down in your feet. ❤️☺️
Why you do massage on your leg go in down ?
Sooo cool that you guys are going to Japan again !! 🥰🇯🇵
Are you going to do a meet & greet again in Tokyo ?? 😃🙏🏼
Beautiful Lady
I think you should have a disclaimer about your lymphatic massage since it’s not the correct form and viewers will probs copy you.
Wish you would have shown unhinged sanne in st tropez! A side we never see!! Xo
Hello love ❤
Your belly is,so beautiful ! I don’t think you,have problème on this part ! 😍
You have a house in Amsterdam?or a rental
