Wow! Hope I don't draw any ire with the comparison, but Mark Wood is to violins what Steve Vai is to guitar! There's even a bit of similarity in their overall tone! I'm extremely impressed!
does anyone know anything about what effects or if any pickups are being used? I'm fully acoustic violin/fiddle and I'm trying to learn more about pickups and effects. thanks :)
reverb would be the most pervasive effect I'm hearing, and from my own experience with effects on cello, a short quiet delay can really smooth out your sound bigtime (make you sound better than you are)
Por favor alguien me puede explicar? No sé si el efecto de sonido guitarra se le pone comprando algo o tienes que comprar el violín que tenga ese sonido Gracias
what kind of pedal was he using on the beginning? because i just bought myself a Stingray Violin and when i play it on a amp i do not like how it sounds... it sounds like metal... i would prefer it to sound more clean... like an acoustic sound but rich... what kind of pedal should i use to change the sound?
I can't believe it's been 17 years since we started working together Mark. Wow!
