You could give Dom a children's toy piano and he would still create a masterful symphony with it 👍😁 It's really amazing what technology can do today. We came a looong way since I first played around with a "synthesizer" program on my C-64 home computer, utilizing the 3 voice polyphonic SID 6581 sound chip...
Exactly... Please give the LoFi Piano video a shot... unbelievable what this guy is able to come up with given the short keyboards.... and nice hearing the beautiful new instruments like this...
Android user here new instruments are appreciated but I've been using one shots along time I was hoping for scale lock feature,Sampler more editing tools and helpers to tune audio to key, ghost notes more audio And midi manipulation features mabe next update
I bought Cubasis a couple of weeks ago, so it is nice to have an update quickly. The Halion Sonic sounds are top quality. I tried Logic Pro but unlike others have decided to stay with Cubasis; it does everything I need to do on iPad and more.
Nice that Steinberg added instruments to Cubasis. Being Cubasis is the only DAW I have available when traveling for work and I’d rather not buy an iPad, this is a big improvement.
Hi, You may check out the dedicated HALion Sonic Selection tutorial to hear more sounds from the library: ruclips.net/video/-7WVviZJrZE/видео.html. Enjoy being creative!
Hi Dom, just watched your impressive demo on Cubasis 3.6. Am plannning to do a solo gig and if I could use the sounds of Halion SE without triggering Cubasis DAW, it could bolster performance greatly. Thanks and more power to you.
Yes, although it's been said that the iPad version is better, more powerful and has more options. But with a decent and recent Android tablet like the Galaxy Tab S7+ (I have that!) it runs nicely on Android, too.
First time I'm checking for a mobile version, but not tablet. What would you recommend for smartphone, at least to work on MIDI tracks that I can import back to Cubase pro to continue?
Cubasis is available for iOS and Android. We recommend a decent iPhone to run the app free of any issues. But it also works on Android smart phones (where the performance is strongly related to the device in use though). You may check out our freely downloadable LE and Trial versions first.
I was so committed to Cubasis. I have always been a user or Cubase and it’s always been amazing. Then logic made its iOS move. I had never used it before.. I was hoping Cubasis would have responded pretty quickly, not just with new synths being available, but also a proper update to keep myself, my family and co producers locked in together. But I went to the dark side.
It's very *impressive* what DOM shows here with just an iPad and that tiny controller keyboard. Seems like a very capable product, Steinberg!

cubasis miss clip launcher unfortunately .. but it uses multicore and is not subscription
Maybe they update for each user that buys it?

Does CuBasis secretly record in the background while you’re playing around?
I'm amazed

Thanks for your messages! The new instrument IAPs are exclusively available as Cubasis in-app purchases for now.
Can it used in android device?

Sure thing, Cubasis 3.6 and the instruments IAPs are available via Google Play and the App Store.

Will we ever have VariAudio on Cubasis?
Casio, 61-Key Portable Keyboard to cubasis 3 android ?????????????
Nice

Same 😊
Sad to see you move... stay safe though!
..same,sadly as i really believed in Cubasis and believed in the product
That’s the positive of a subscription model - the abilty to continue investment in the product at a higher level!
I tried but I couldn’t work with the UI. Cubasis has a much better workflow for me. It desperately needs a tempo track though.
