Every time I watch your videos I learn something new and try it out! At first I wasn't getting what you were doing, but you kept moving the paint and blending until your satisfied. Thank you for always sharing your knowledge and flair!
I am getting ready to paint my entire bedroom set using this technique. I painted my dining room set using the same colors but in a ragging technique that you demonstrated in an earlier video. It turned out to be a STUNNING set! Everyone that has seen it raves about it. I look forward to finishing this next set and moving ahead to the next room. Painting relaxes me, so it's not a chore. I am happy I found your site. I have been watching you for about 6 months now and I love your style. Thanks for sharing your gift with us.👍
I’m impressed with your arm and hand strength because I just dry brushed my first piece and was surprised how tired my hand got. You are inspirational and make me create new beautiful pieces. Thank you.
Thank you for not talking. I’m new to your channel and I appreciate you just getting the meat of the content w/o all of the endless chatter. Thank you so much. Love love your world !!! xoxo

Kacha ... 🙏.. for your reply... your truly doing amazing video tutorials... you have definitely branded your own character and love the new background! 🙌... My newest tutorial will be out this Saturday 🤗🤗
I agree with so many....this is a great video showing the amazing changes you can achieve with chalk paint. You have an amazing eye and imagination for concepts and colors. I appreciate you sharing your talents. Enjoyed as always!!
Hi from New Zealand I am so glad I found you ! Your videos are simply AWESOME & EXTREMELY WELL MADE & EXPLAINED 😀 Thanku so very much for sharing them & showing the techniques. Absolutely ❤️ all your gorgeous finishes !
Kasha you are very talented paint designer. Thank you for your videos on all the techniques you show us. Love your laugh as it makes me laugh too. Your husband must be very proud of you & want you have accomplished with your business & RUclips videos 💜
This is stunning. I've got two pieces at home that I want to paint and this has given me some inspiration. One is an oak hall table and one is a pine Mexican style 4 drawer desk. Looking for that shabby chic distressed look in both but can't decide on colour combos yet !
This is sooooo BEAUTIFUL!!!!! Can I do the opposite and have the same outcome using white as the base coat and using charcoal chalk paint over the white?
I absolutely love this technique. Your work is amazing. Would this technique work if I used two toned purple or should I use the graphite and a purple in place of the white.
Oh wow just what I am looking for this are the colors I need in my kitchen cabinets I totally love the combination is there another paint I can substitute for graphite besides Annie sloan ?
I’m in love with paint!! 🎨🎨After watching your vids..You nail it every time & like I say, your music is Lit!🔥🔥 it’s a rainy day today., so popcorn and vids today.. yes indeed🌧🍉🍇🍓🍜
I have a bunch of furniture some i think are wood but other are laminate. I love the chalk pain look. First laminate so do you sand it? Also do you need to put some protection over the chalk paint? Second some of my furniture seems to be kinda wood but its not real heavy so im not really sure. Some pieces arent glossy so its hard to decide. I just want to paint it all lol.
Absolutely lovely, I just wanted to say thank you Kacha as yours is the first RUclips video that I have really really liked and tried out some of your techniques and I am so pleased with the results! All thanks to you I have been able to transform a lot of my furniture! Very easy to follow aswell and very clear about how to do it. I will definitely be subscribing! 😊😊
Hi, this looks great, was just wondering, if after the paint dries, can you spray with a little water to blend better, if it doesn't look right, awaiting your response, thank you, Carol 😁
Kacha as always I wait for videos. They inspire me as well as relax me. Love your as always. I could watch you all day long 7 days LMBOOO! Love, love your work. See you next week. 👑🖌💖👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️😘🙏🏻✌🏻️
Kacha I truly believe you will have a show. I will be a fan as long as you are on. I know I ask if you worked on cabinets in a home with your style of doing this you will be a household name.! I 'll ride with you girl! 😄😘❤️🙏🏻 lol
Finally!!! The look I have been looking for after countless videos where they go on and on and say nothing.... question I want this look more so for the top of the table and the base and sides more Grey (farmhouse table so simple to paint) do i buy a grey for the base or can I achieve that look with the black and white paints?
Is it good to use a dark base when using white so that you don't have to put so many coats of white on. Like the graphite is almost acting like a primer and for contrast at the same point the?
Not really, I think it might end up taking the same amounts of paint in the end. I do this when I layer, but if I wanted just white ill add some shellac then just go with my white!
Love this one :) Question: so does chalk paint always reactivate with water then? So if you didn't seal it with wax or another sealer (Home Depot has a specific sealer called Rustoleum Top Coat for Chalk Paint).. and you get water on the chalk paint, it would reactivate no matter if it's dried for days or weeks even? If so, is the wax enough to stop it reactivating if water gets on it? What do you think of the Rustoleum sealer vs wax? Thanks Kacha :)
Angela Wallman yes it’s water based and water will re activate it! I always seal it with wax because I like the sheen and makes the color deeper. I have used the rustoleum top coat, it’s more like a polyurethane. I prefer not to use poly unless it’s a heavy use piece like a table top! Thanks for watching!
@@KachaFurniture ok ya that's what I was thinking too... to use it for table tops where you know it gets more use. Ok off to get some waxes too. Thanks!
Angela, you asked the question O had in mind. I’m planning on painting my kitchen cabinet doors and am afraid water will spoil the job, so I better go with another type os finish to protect them, right?
@@daisyoliveira2579 Rustoleum makes a kitchen cabinet transformations kit, comes with everything you need. Its available at home depot. I have used it and its great! Maybe you can look into that?
Very nice video. I would like to change the color of a dresser and bedside tables. The Graphite color would be the base color but instead of Linen White paint color I would like to use Aged Gray paint color. In your professional opinion, do you think these two colors would harmonize? Thank you very much for your response and thank you very much for a great video.

This is beautiful! Would you think DB Silk paint would work with this technique? I need to complete a very large hutch with this look and I would love to avoid a top coat :)
Kasha, I would like to do this with black and white. Can I use a White ax finish to achieve a similar effect? Also can I use the wax finish on black painted furniture?
Your work is truly beautiful and inspiring! 😍 I have a similar piece in mind but I want more white with accents of gray. That said, do I do my base coat in the white?
First and always hitting that 👍 like button..love 💕your work Kacha!!

I don’t really like to use any water when dry brushing, you can try and maybe you like it that way.
Thanks for replying, it's my first time blending and mine doesn't look as good as yours, a bit patchy in places, thanks anyway,
