  • How do you help people care about things that do not directly impact them? Charles Eisenstein explains that the worldview of what does, or does not, directly impact us is generally too narrow. Approaching people with a spirit of generosity is the best way to invite people into acts of service.

If you want the playbook for this, read The Secret of Shambhala by James Redfield. It is the third book of a four book series that started with The Celestine Prophecy. They are fantastic books, and they talk about how everything is fundamentally energetics. If you speak to souls and see everyone's higher and most divine nature, you will be giving them the energy and space to step into that. I don't speak to egos anymore, and miracles happen more and more every day. Expect the best from others and that is exactly what you are going to get.

That's a very How to Win Friends and Influence People approach. And it works! I've never thought to apply it to getting people to care... Brilliant

I had the same thought about Kennedy’s possible influence on Trump…he is practicing unity at the deepest level with his actions. ❤ I just love your perspective and insight.

It was Vinoba Bhave who started the land reform movement in India.

I really love this, and once again, hearing Charles strikes a chord in me which helps me move forward with greater faith. In some ways, this makes me think about 'marketing' because it's so often about 'connecting' people to what they want deep down and may not even know they want it. For years I've felt that if there were enough 'marketers' for omni-wellness and stewardship, people would come out of their protective shells. Thanks for this affirmation

The answer for this question: how do you get people to care about making changes that don’t directly benefit them?
I agree with a divergent understanding of what is good for one or another, and your answer is exactly the foundation of the blockchain we created to regenerate the planet, instead of proof or work, or stake, it works with proof of regeneration. Let’s talk man, make an interview with me.

Interesting. I made a comment pointing out that Vinoba Bhava's movement only achieved 1/60 (about one and two-thirds percent) of the target it had set for seven years. My comment disappeared. Is only gushing admiration allowed here?

I love that Charles sees the possibility for Trump to be influenced by the good intentions of Bobby Kennedy. This is our only hope for change. Strengthen Bobby's vision by voting for Trump.

what happens if you try to care about things that don't directly impact you is that people turn you into cannon fodder and then discard you, hope that helps!
