  • Dr Timothy Jennings will be an exploration of God's law and justice. In a world filled with injustice many people cry out to God for ultimate justice, yet the view one holds about God's law and justice has significant impact on mental, physical, and relational health. Examine the difference between human and divine justice and the impact our views have on religious and social activities.

Can those statistics really be true?!?😢 So very, very sad. The Christian community needs these kinds of presentations. Thank you, Dr Jennings.

I'm one of those oppressed people who grew up in an Evangelical environment.. never understood the condemnation, hypocrisy, and outright narcissistic abuse of supposedly "God's" people around me. I found myself both target and perpetrator, with the former being much, much more prevalent. By the time I was 45 I had been beaten up so badly in this church environment, that I was beginning to think that it wasn't worth going through anymore. I wanted to just die and have it be over with. What kept me from exiting early was my financial obligations and knowledge of how horribly my wife would suffer if I was gone. I never rejected God because I was afraid of both life and the afterlife without Him. I didn't think that I could measure up in any way, but knew I'd rather take a chance on Him rather than be without Him.

Repay no one evil for evil, but give thought to do what is honorable in the sight of all. If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all. Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.”
    Romans 12.17-19
