Audison's stuff is unreal, I just built a system using their Prima series speakers and subs and SR series amp. While it wasn't cheap, it sounds as good as systems that cost 2x as much.
Looking to put AP 69 in the front doors, AP65 in the back doors, AP2 tweeters in the dash. 1 10in jl tw3 sub all ran with audison sr5.600 amp. Going to seal and sound deaden the doors and helix mini dsp at the end. 5k price but I want a top end system. Sound worth it? Can’t find any reviews on the prima system on RUclips or even Reddit really
I put an SR1.500 to power a JLw6 , the sound was incredible , such clean power Ive never seen anything like it. im compared to Pioneer , Sundown , aunex amps etc , those are the amps Ive been using for years and and ive missing out on this type on high quality power all my life.
I really enjoy the 5.600 amp. I have it connected to 2 Pioneer Z 6.5 components and 2 coaxial as well as a JL Audio 12 inch microsub. I am swapping them out this Thursday from my old 2020 Optima SE to a 2022 Kia Sorento Hybrid. It should sound even better in a SUV!
your ad vice was amazing when switched out my reliable kicker 360.4 amp ad replaced it with audison sr4.500 because i upgraded my speakers morel tempo ultra 602mk2 and morel coax tempo ultra integra with alpine s60 mono and sundown e-10 v.3 d4 sealed box in an mpv pure music!!! , but the other advice that stole the show was taking infinity kappa component and kappa coax in my other vehicle with my old school jl audio 500/5 with old school idq 12 1999 , in small sedan even bass turned down smooth sound amazingly two very good but different sound quality systems , many , many thanks again !! you jl with infinty kappa peanut butter and jelly sandwich lol!!
One question... Currently (2024) Audison has two lines of amplifiers that already have integrated DSP, the "Forza" and "Prima" lines. I'd like to ask: is the DSP (the software) used in both lines the same or are they different DSPs? In other words, is the DSP available in the "Forza" line identical to the DSP in the "Prima" line? Or does the DSP in each line have different features and capabilities?
I have 2 3-way component speakers (Audison APK 163) for the front and back. I also have a Audison APBX 10 AS2 Prima Subwoofer. What is the best amplifier for this set-up of 12 total speakers and a subwoofer?
Questions: Does running an amp at 1 ohm make the Amp run hotter than running it at 2 ohms? And same for running it at 2 ohm over 4 ohm? Meaning the Amp will run it's coolest at 4 ohm?
Correct. For instance: assuming an amp is 1 ohm stable, running it at 1 ohm will produce more power (less resistance) but also more heat as a result than the same amp wired @ 2 ohms- or @ 4 ohms for that matter..
Great video. Which 4 channel amplifier would you choose? Audison sr 4.500 , Hertz ML Power 4 or JL audio HD 600/4 ? Audison is the cheapest but is it the best? I'm running Hertz Millie legends comp. Looking forward to your advice. Thank you

Those audio controls are good but are different animals. The audio control D series amps have the built in DSP and the L series does having summing which the audisons don’t . BUT if you need an amp with built in DSP check out those Helix Pro amps. In my option those are much better then the Audiocontrol D Series. But if you don’t need DSP I like these audison amps better.

For one better sound quality. Also if this amp has more power than your current Amp then definitely should be louder especially because your speakers can handle more power. OK I hope that helps!
Hi, really interested in getting Audison 5.600 sr amp as an upgrade on my system, currently I have 165 k2 focal components, JBL gto629 mid and Fosgate P/3 10 inch with EQ Clarion 755 and epic center. I had kicker cxa.360.4 amp and 200 rms amp for the sub. My question is that if I get Audison would it be noticeable downgrade on the quality of the sound compared to AB amp?
Not at all audison did a great job with the 5 channel and 4 channels in this series. If you were taking a high quality Helix or mosconi a/b amp then yes there would be a difference but from the cxa360.4 it will be an improvement.
Ok no DSP on my these amps. If your looking for amps with built in DSP Helix PRO. AMAZING AMPS! They come in either 6 channel 8 channel and 12 channel.
Went into my local shop for a complete system upgrade for my project BMW E46. Needed a 5 Ch amp and they suggested the SR 5600. I’ve always gone with RF amps, and until then never heard of Audison, and therefore told them I needed to do some research before pulling the trigger. How would you guys rank Audison vs Rockford when it comes to amplifiers? Any relevant and expert feedback is welcomed and appreciate!👊🏽💪🏽💯
@@walterverbeeck6929 I haven’t pulled the trigger yet on the sound system, but going with a shallow mount double din is the way to go if you want a double din stereo. If I go that route I’ll probably do a late model Pioneer (forgot model number) or the latest Dynavin model available to date. It’s the N7 Pro if I remember correctly.
@@dopeboyp3487 My previous radio was a single din alpine IVA-D106R, my local car hifi shop installed an Audison VOCE av 5.1K who have high inputs on the amplifier. Few years ago i replaced the radio in the car and placed a relocation kit so that i could place a double din radio in the dashboard, in may of this year, i installed a 9 inch Teyes CC3 with Android 10 in my car because it is so shallow and a powered 7 ports 2.0 USB hub in the trunk for my DAB+, TPMS, Resler module and usb stick full of music and video's. My next project is to swap the analog input with a digital input in the amplifier. The radio i now have has an optical out which i would connect to the bit Ten D and from there to the av bit in in the av 5.1K amplifier, for the best sound possible.

I’m in SE Michigan, and I’ve found there are many shops that won’t touch a BMW at all, and the shops who will are charging BMW’ish fees for labor. I was quoted just over 3k to install the Audison SR5600 5 ch amp, two sets of Hertz DSK 1303 components, a Pioneer DMH W4600 NEX head unit, and a 12in Alpine Type R with the Halo box. Parts & Labor are all just over $3200, without me haggling of course. More than likely I’m going that route, after the 5k I’m spending on a full paint job, plus an additional 2k on a Viper alarm and remote smart with all the options. All for a 17 yr old vehicle with over 200k miles to date, SMH… I won’t mention the “$$$$” I spent just getting this thing to the point where the figures above make sense dolling out. That’s an E46 for you though -But it is what it is, LOL!
I am using SR 4.5 with audison voce components and coaxials, connected to Kenwood DDX9018, when head unit volume is at 100% I am not able to increase gain more than 10% if I increase amplifier is clipping what could be the reason
Ok that radio more than likely clips about 90% of the volume. Most radios clip around that level expect for pioneer which can go to 100 % because the output is not great. You need the SMD DD1 to tune your system. Check out Steve mead channel or one of our videos that teach you how to use this
Unfortunately I am not getting desired output from my SR 4.3 ..I paired it with Voce AV K6 n Voce X 6.5 and sub APBX 10 AS2. Vocals are coming chocked n details in the Mids are missing.Then after few weeks I installed Nakamichi DSP to improve effect but nothing substantial happened. Now someone has advised to replace class D amp with class AB.Will it help ?

Do they put out rated power at all channels evenly? The fuse rating is very low for a 5 channel amplifier.

Audison.. have the 4.500 running my Mille MPK 1650.3 separates + a Voce Uno 1700x1 running 2-DC Audio m3 8inch subs.. super clean 👌

I also have a BMW E46, is your radio a single din? If so, be aware that there is almost no place at the rear for the cinch plugs for the pre outputs.
