I have the Soloist 3XGT Perf. and just also grabbed the we Soloist Voyager too. Both have the silent PO2 upgrade and the V7 classics. I did V7 Vivid in the input stage. I love these amps and I don’t think can beat them under 3K or so. They do get hot as hell though.
I use my Burson as my main preamp in my system and it's been a game changer for ins and outs. Brilliant 3x3 implementation. So I've got three amps controlled by this guy on 12 v triggers. My DAC has the master trigger and it's a dream. Now getting to the sound. Loud and warm. Best in class. Totl. Yeah the subwoofer out is brilliant too and volume control of my Svs 3000 is great. At 3500 dollars with the mothership stand extra it's expensive but again a totl solution for me. Happy for now. Thanks guys.
I think the reason the Burson is making headphones necessarily sound different is due to the higher current design + impedance adaptation tech. It will make the headphones have a more accurate tuning per say. For my preference its a good thing but for some it may be a negative. I've compared it to the Holo Audio Bliss KTE and even though the Burson has 2W less power at 32 Ohms, it can drive higher loads better due to the current and impedance curve taming. To choose a Holo Bliss KTE would definitely be sound preference for example. I'm getting one very soon FYI :)
I have a Burson Soloist GT which I picked up open box w/ warranty for $1800. It's sounds great, warm and is way more power than I need as I run it on Lo gain for all my cans. However, if I were going to spend $3500 on an amp I'd go w/ the Holo Bliss KTE and retire, lol.
Great review. I have the Conductor GT. I upgraded it with the new V7 Vivids. Way better than the V6. It's not subtle. Highly recommend the V7. Sounds outstanding with my Susvara, Utopia and Sennheisers! I'm hoping they will create a Conductor Voyager. I really like having a compact all in one system with end game sound.

I do need a longer headphone cable as the fan does intrude a little when just browsing the web/RUclips and between songs when using open-backed headphones, it disappears with music, but I can see the attraction of the Voyager. Oh and yeah, dump that 3.5 gaming crap! Seriously, who would use this for gaming + gaming PC? Only if you have your own powerstation. This really needs 4.4.
Manufacturers need to stop using those little mono color OLED screens. They become completely unreadable after a couple years, depending on how long it gets used. I have a couple of devices that use them and their readability ranges from awful to not at all. The pixels just don't last very long before they get too dim to see.
I killed that power supply [Supercharger 5A], so Burson quickly sent a replacement, and that died within 20min. no problems using the standard power supply on my Conductor 3 GT. no idea why that happened. couldn't really tell a lot of difference between the sound of them anyway.
Burson definitely makes some impressive gear but I'm having a miserable time trying to get in touch with them for warranty support. It's been a week and half and you don't get so much as a "we've received your ticket and we'll get to you asap". Just radio silence and the hope that they'll some day email you to start the process. Burson if you're reading these comments please help me. :(
I'd rather have JUST ONE type of headphone output, 100% of each audio channel going straight to that one. Also I dunno if you got the Deluxe variant Zeos. If it didn't come with the upgraded 5A Supercharger PSU, chances are those are the V6 op-amps. I'd check with Bloom Audio and see if they sent you the Deluxe package but the PSU just arrived late.

What you're saying is if you have both single ended output and a balanced output you may not get the full benefits of each depending on the possibility of the amp having a better hardware setup to where one or the other sounds better. So you'd rather have one type of headphone output to make sure you're getting the full capabilities of the amp for every headphone?

I’ve had mine since Nov. 2023 & couldn’t be happier. It powers the Susvara & Abyss 1266 beautifully.

Agreed. The screens are awful. It's simply a poor use case for OLED.
My Burson soloist 3 X gets just as hot as my Mjolner KGSSHV I guess its the price you have to pay for class A resolution
