- It's still as hot as ever this summer. I channeled a bit of that energy into this arrangement medley of my favorite tracks from Wave Race 64! Even though these tracks remain mostly faithful to the originals, I tried some new ideas and twists that hopefully bring a fresh take to the series.
Some of my influences for this arrangement were T-SQUARE (who also likely influenced this original 1996 soundtrack), there's probably a bit of Hirokazu Ando influence in there, and I tried to bring in some ideas from Totaka's work on Wii Sports and other games.

Amazing as usual, potato of legend.
When that transition at 1:44 hit...the way I smiled, man. It's so good. The whole arrangement is a delight to listen to, as usual. And it's also a reminder that you really have a knack for menu tunes. Sure, maybe menu tunes aren't being covered here, but they sound like they'd fit a menu really well.
Love what you've done with the saw lead. It's easy to ignore how much goes into stuff like that, but the vibrato and pitch bends and everything you put into it sound so so good. All of the instrumentation is just lovely and nostalgic and beautiful.
It's so cool seeing Goliath used here. I believe that's what Chris Hendricks used for Club Penguin. I'd love to see you tackle something from Club Penguin with your fresh new style!
Also getting some Pilotwings (0:27) and Pokemon (0:42) vibes here...honestly just cover as much as you want and maybe as much as you can please? 👉👈
Thanks so much! Yup occasionally I am using Goliath and I think “where have I heard this Pan Flute sound before…” and it’s always Club Penguin! It still holds up as a semi-realistic sounding sound library.
