great commentary, would love to see some detailed hawk t1 flights or typhoon sortie/missions around the machloop. and some low level. keep up this good work
Aye lovely little flight. It's nice how you pointed out all the places of interest. Nice and smooth landing, I'd have loved to know the wind direction and speed though. Knowing the wind can make all the difference between a good or botched landing, especially in the smaller Cessna's. Don't try land with more than a 15kts crosswind in a 152, talking from experience.
i would also love to hear you tell us about your experiences in the raf and at the start of every vid you can introduce yourself and say you have experience in the raf as an engineer and link some of that knowledge into flying and commentating on your vids
Some good tips there mate, I may just do that. I was on 43 Sqn as an engineer on Tornado F3. I'm about to purchase the new Tornado GR1 and do some flying on that in the sim. Should get some good videos
Hey, great video, old yank here who spends most of his sim time in the UK. I’ve been up in Scotland lately but love Duxford and the small airfields by Burning Blue Design. I’ve been creating content for about a year now, mostly in piston GA and WW2 warbirds. I appreciate your low and slow VFR content. I gave you a sub and would love to trade ideas. -Mike
Hi Mike. Thanks for the kind reply. I've been simming for a while but have now decided that I'd like to make a lot more content, so still finding things to do and trying out new ideas. I do enjoy VFR flying and having recently started using Navigraph and Little Nav Map as planning aids, I have quite a few ideas to create a lot more VFR stuff as well as the IFR airliner stuff. I'll visit your chanel and take a look at what you're producing with interest. Cheers, Steve.
@@GeordieWings hey Steve, welcome to the creator side of the hobby, I am rooting for you and your channel. You having the local knowledge makes for incredible content. I try to do some research before I take off but it doesn’t compare to you pointing things out on the fly. 😉 I have been in the hobby on and off since the mid 80’s. I am a student pilot but had to take a pause because of life events, so with my extra time I created my channel. I use ForeFlight for most of my flight planning, it’s just a preference. I follow a few creators like AvAngel, TwoToneMurphy and Dreams of Wings for ideas and style. -Mike
Thanks. In answer to your question, the best you can afford. FS2020 is very demanding so look for a good graphics card and CPU. Also plenty of RAM. FS2024 which is imminent is apparently more demanding so I may be upgrading myself
That was a lovely flight m8, from your local Mackem 👍
Glad you enjoyed it

You read my mind. I was thinking of doing the mach loop very soon

Great video, from a fellow Crammy lad...looking to purchase a machine to play...what do you recommend?

Those ATC folk need to work on their Geordie accents
Exactly!!
