Very enjoyable going thru your sketchbook, love it! I was going to say I really miss that you are not showing your sketches more often but then you said you don't get to sketch as much. But I can still say I miss this, can't I? Lol Always looking forward to a new video from you Teoh! Thank you!! ❤
I was so surprised to hear that you don't sketch that often! That inspires me, because there are times that I sketch a lot, and times that I don't sketch much, and maybe now I won't feel so bad about that. I love your loose style and bold use of color.
Custom ones are usually very expensive. But even the non-custom 100% cotton ones are expensive. Maybe you can look for Baohong watercolour sketchbooks and check the price. Those should be good (100% cotton) although I have not tested their sketchbooks before.
@@teohyc In the US we can only get tiny Baohong sketchbooks so far, but the Etchr ones use that same paper. I have used the Hahnemuhle cotton ones a lot which are a lot more affordable, especially the small square one. The paper isn't wonderful, but it's not the worst either. Ok for abstracts.
9:24 I don't think it's a big deal when the perspective is a bit off. There's still many more other things to enjoy in a sketch, like the shapes, colors, shadows, details and of course the atmosphere and associated memories 😄
It's really an amazing sketchbook!!!! Just love it! Also, I know I already asked but pleeease can you do a book review for this book: How to Draw for Beginners: The EASIEST 15-Day Drawing Method Course by Amelia khouri
Goodness me, you poor thing, getting a hard time for drawing a tank! 😳 Let's face it, there's always a conflict going on somewhere in the world! 😏 I'm pleased you've put it back up, I like to see your process whatever the subject matter. (I think I'm a bit allergic to this modern phenomenon of virtue signalling 😂).

I love how you remember so many details of your sketching days. Beautiful sketches!
Excellent stuff, Teoh! Truly a time portal in your hand as it takes you back to some vivid memories. Cheers!
Great seeing your sketches. Thanks for sharing them with us.
I am always so jealous of your custom sketchbooks! Wish I could get ones like that in the USA!

lovely sketches. love how the paints rest nicely on the paper. Nice that you found $10 to offset the watercolours you lost haha.
I love your style, the colors are so beautiful
Thank you Theo, your work is such an inspiration

What are you recommended supplies you use?
Oh no, did you lose your Cotman box that you loved so much????? Or a different box?
I still have the box, but it's in storage as I am currently moving house

But what a coincidence. Think about drawing a big rock, when later that day a meteor hits the Earth.
sketchbook but what looks like a digital pen lol
Waiting the new Huion kamvas pro 19 & 27
I'm currently moving house so I won't be able to review those big items for a few months
@@teohyc Moving again? I guess you need more space for the kids, no?
@@PaulaBean Yup. The previous space was small. The room is only enough for a super-single bed and can barely fit a proper study table.
@@teohycOh nice. I hope you move to a neighourhood with lots of birds. I always liked the cheeping of birds in your old videos 🐦🐦🐦
@@PaulaBean Yeah, I've learned my mistake. This time I've moved away from the main road.
Nice! But let me tell you like a sister❤-no offence-change huge glasses for smaller more delicate. 🎉🎉🎉
