As much as LS Chevy fan I am, I still think you should go ahead and build a coyote motor. You have a built ls motor already. Might as well have the best of both worlds and build a coyote.
Cleetus, get a 4.6 DOHC short block from a Lincoln Mark 8, and with 2valve heads it's around 11.5-1 compression plus a aluminum block good to 1500+, or get some 4valve heads off a navigator and it will be like a 03-04 N/A Cobra engine with the Cobra cams, minus the stock forged pistons.
Drew L yesss a coyote and stick shift and gut the car to remove weight for a drift car. I think Leroy is the drag car and the neighbor should be the drift car!!
No vote button so . I'm curious if a big block Ford will fit where a 4.6 lived . It would be cheap . They have ginormous stroker cranks that bolt rite in for more torque at idle than any tire can take.
Ford Barra 270T Turbo motor, 4.0lt DOHC Inline 6Cyl Turbo, stock engine internals can handle 800hp with just upgraded valve springs. be the first in USA to do a Barra swap....you wouldnt ;)
I know that, im not saying the Coyote or the LS for that matter are bad, im just saying they have been done before. A american Barra build would be wicked.
My cousin has a 33 Ford with a Chevy in it! SMH! The best part of this show car is the Saturn bucket seats! I would imagine with this, just drop an SHO engine in. Those things were nasty back in the day!!!
If only they was slow ya... had a many of chevys was so hard to keep them even running let alone fast... bought a mustang and ran circles around the camaro i use to own then the camaro blew up and never seen again.. mustang is still going strong 6 years later.. both of them.
The "LS movement" will never end. There is no cheaper more reliable engine choice out there. With that being said, I agree on the 5.0 swap in Neighbor. Simply because, it's not my money's.
3 Mountain Dew commercials came on while I was watching this....coincidence....I think not....Mountain dew hurry up and sponsor Cletus already! #HellYeahBrother🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸#Merica🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I would go with a ls turbo 400 combo! But if you wanting a versatile car maybe the 5.0 with a stick shift would suite the car better for drifting ect. Was hoping you got my fan mail I sent over to you a few months ago. Just a few stickers and a letter. Oh well keep on keeping on brother!
If it was mine I would buy a billet Wheeled precision 78/75 Turbo that would be used in each step of project. Have a simple turbo kit made for the 4.6 Turbo is way to big but it will put the pistons thru the hood but have fun till then throw a 2005+ 4.8 have the 799 heads cnc ported,LJMS stage 2 turbo cam,and ARP studs&bolts good oil pump a set of good rings etc,, then have a bad ass turbo kit made for it, bad ass split downpipe for awesome bumper exit bull horns, nice air to air intercooler , built TH400 with trans brake rebuild the rear throw 3.73s or 3.55s and a locker. Run that awesome ignite e90 and have fun
I would like to see a 5.2 flat plane ford V8 in the VIC. You can get some insane RPM right off the start and you can even "Eco-Boost" it. As for trans I see a plethora of options for you.
Keep it ford, you have the Chevy covered.. you did miss my choice on motor options.. go with the 5.2 GT350 motor with twin turbo. high revving 8300 rpm monster flat plain crank and a 6 speed
You could combine the Crown Royal labels and the Crown Vic. Do up entire sections of the car with overlapping stickers, maybe do a design with the colors of the labels, clear coat it when it's done.
Mike Isaac I've looked at a few on ebay If you can get up with an import export company that does container shipping probably can get one shipped in the states for 3k
Ford 4.6 DOHC. They were used in the Mustangs of that era, the Mercury Marauder, and the Lincoln Aviator. Slap a couple turbos on their and she'll move.
Once I saw every one else voted for the coyote I was soon relieved!!! I love that motor and I love this channel and the people behind it!!! It's a great day to be an AMERICAN and to be a viewer of Cleetus.
Owning a Panther myself I would love to see what kind of abuse an auto ford trans can take. Especially with a trans brake, high stall converter, and hydro e brake.
If its just for epic burnskies: Coyote 302 with all titanium valve train, underdrive pulleys and supper light flywheel. Put ITB's that stick out of the hood and wind it up to 8500rpm. I love some boost. But for the theater of it all, noise...
I said do a LS stick shift V8 have not seen very many Crown Victorias with a Chevy V8 in it you could also do twin turbos later on down the road or nitrous
Don't leave your vote in the comments! Click the button on the top right hand side of the video and select from one of the options! Thanks and Do it for Dale!
Cleetus McFarland terminator 4.6. Easy 800hp and you'll save a lot of cash
5.3 engine on the crown vic
Cleetus McFarland how about a twin turbo Cummins with a 6 speed manual for diesel bald
DRIFT THE VIC! #DRIFTVIC
🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅
Definitely do the 4 race seats stripped interior...that would be a riot haha
As much as LS Chevy fan I am, I still think you should go ahead and build a coyote motor. You have a built ls motor already. Might as well have the best of both worlds and build a coyote.
Allen Rodgers same I wanted to see something different than a LS
I'm a diehard Chevy fan as well and I say coyote it
I'm a Chevy guy but forced induction coyote stick for sure because it's less common.
Robert Hull because they suck... lol
3valve v10 tho
1978DirtyD Why because it smashes on ls2's?
waterloo123100 forced induction over a na ls2. 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
1978DirtyD 5.0 is NA think again
Do something bonkers. Stick 3-valve Triton V10 with blower on top.
FuzzyLumpkin234 agreed
That's what I thought
Cleetus, get a 4.6 DOHC short block from a Lincoln Mark 8, and with 2valve heads it's around 11.5-1 compression plus a aluminum block good to 1500+, or get some 4valve heads off a navigator and it will be like a 03-04 N/A Cobra engine with the Cobra cams, minus the stock forged pistons.
Keep it ford. 5.0 and a stick shift....maybe a big ole single turbskis🤔
Drew L with a cj intake
Drew L yesss a coyote and stick shift and gut the car to remove weight for a drift car. I think Leroy is the drag car and the neighbor should be the drift car!!
Definitely the 5.0 but i was thinking twin turbskies?
Roberto Ramos nahh just one big 102mm turbo
Your probably right i had to think about that one a bit
Huge fan of Chevy but would love to see 5.0 just because why not have a Ford and Chevy channel
No vote button so . I'm curious if a big block Ford will fit where a 4.6 lived . It would be cheap . They have ginormous stroker cranks that bolt rite in for more torque at idle than any tire can take.
I voted for 5.0 manual, but I think a 6.8 v10 would be cool.
Nicholas Van Scoy because he can afford that
Put a 2000 ford f350 7.3 liter diesel engine in that beast!!!
I hear ya on that 🙌🏼😂
Yes!!!
I wish he would. He doesn't have enough murica in him for that. Too much power for you clitoris?
99-03 7.3l or obs 94-97 idi 7.3
I don’t think it’ll fit under the hood 😂
5 years later an Neighbor is definitely the most famous crown vic. after so longand many wrecks Neighbor now has a ford Godzilla engine
Voodoo 5.2 from the gt350 they hold up well to boost and 8200rpm.
cory redford Just do a coyote cheaper can handle plenty of boost and with the gt350 manifold it will also do 8200 rpm all day.
They don’t sell the Voodoo individually they only come with the GT350s
Those motors are like 15 grand
La_Lobo_Negra you can buy them seperatley but they are not cheap.
Ford Barra 270T Turbo motor, 4.0lt DOHC Inline 6Cyl Turbo, stock engine internals can handle 800hp with just upgraded valve springs. be the first in USA to do a Barra swap....you wouldnt ;)
MaStars coyote is dohc too
I’m already planning on swapping a barra in a mk3 supra. Don’t care what the supra community will say about that
I know that, im not saying the Coyote or the LS for that matter are bad, im just saying they have been done before. A american Barra build would be wicked.
I was thinking the same thing.
My cousin has a 33 Ford with a Chevy in it! SMH! The best part of this show car is the Saturn bucket seats! I would imagine with this, just drop an SHO engine in. Those things were nasty back in the day!!!
As much as I like ls engines I am sick of seeing them swapped into everything. Go coyote on this one.
sadelcol Same, it has lost its uniqueness. Do a Yote.
UnsulliedSpy lol pretty much it's now the 2 cent hooker of the automotive world.
Bro I’m tired of LS engine he’ll put a 2jz in Neighbor
Keep it Ford 5.0
Can Gear 895 5.slow
If only they was slow ya... had a many of chevys was so hard to keep them even running let alone fast... bought a mustang and ran circles around the camaro i use to own then the camaro blew up and never seen again.. mustang is still going strong 6 years later.. both of them.
Barra swap it
Cleetus McFarland
460cid 671 blower, Dual 750 Carbs, C6 Transmission
COYOTE SWAP!!!
I guess you got what you wanted
the LS movement had it's day... that sob deserves a 5.0 period ole son. or Terminator 4.6
The "LS movement" will never end. There is no cheaper more reliable engine choice out there. With that being said, I agree on the 5.0 swap in Neighbor. Simply because, it's not my money's.
The knocking is the timing chain tensioner pumping up.
3 Mountain Dew commercials came on while I was watching this....coincidence....I think not....Mountain dew hurry up and sponsor Cletus already! #HellYeahBrother🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸#Merica🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Find a wrecked 2003/4 Cobra take the engine trans and suspension
Putt a power stroke diesel in it
yes
A jacked up 6.7 Powerstroke would be a runnin sumbitch
How about a dirtymax
Yes and twin turbo it
Manual Coyote 5.0 for sure. I’d like to see something a bit different. It’d be interesting
do a coyote swap! fords can make power too
Jake Johnson not a fan of ford but since it is a vic I'd also like to see something other than an LS on the channel
@Jake Johnson Yup! a Ford should have a Ford motor IMO
I would go with a ls turbo 400 combo! But if you wanting a versatile car maybe the 5.0 with a stick shift would suite the car better for drifting ect.
Was hoping you got my fan mail I sent over to you a few months ago. Just a few stickers and a letter.
Oh well keep on keeping on brother!
something ls for sure maybe something difernt maybe a 6.o lq4 or a 8.1 if you can find one but the coyote motor would be sweet
It’s a Ford, drop a 5.0 in it.
laken ezzell 5.0 manual is in the lead with 69% lol. It really is tho
I commented before I knew there was a vote, leave me be.
I may have the perfect mod motor for this build ;) the "machula" engine
Coyote+T-56+Whipple
what12311 hell yeah brother
No paxton ?
jerry starr Whipples and Ford seem to go hand in hand in my opinion, Paxton wouldn't be bad either, hell maybe even a Kenne Bell
what12311 you do have a good point for sure , I just love the work those centrifugal sc & coyotes put in
COYOTE!!👌
Chuck a turbo Barra in it with Mighty Car Mods.
Coyote 5.0 Stick
its up like 68% manual 5.0 to 23% on the manual ls
Coyote
If you go ford do a 460 stroker . if Chevy do a 400 small block or a 454 !!! I would say 501 Chevy but those are hard to find !!
COYOTE SWAPPP
My vote is Coyote and 6R80 personally
Do up the interior of the Crown Vick with the Crown Royal stickers. The dash and plastic parts etc...
Coyote swap it's a Ford I think u will be the first one with a coyote swap in a Crown Vic
ruclips.net/video/KQ_j65BMBx4/видео.html
There was also a Mercury Marauder that had a turbo coyote as well.
There is one in saudi who did a coyote swap in a crown vic
Well I didn't know
0.9 or a 1.3l out of a Yugo. It's the only option
Coyote with a mansmission all the way
Whipple supercharged 5.0 coyote
I would like to see a 5.2 flat plane ford V8 in the VIC. You can get some insane RPM right off the start and you can even "Eco-Boost" it. As for trans I see a plethora of options for you.
Coyote all the way
Either a coyote or a 4.6 4v
Keep it ford, you have the Chevy covered.. you did miss my choice on motor options.. go with the 5.2 GT350 motor with twin turbo. high revving 8300 rpm monster flat plain crank and a 6 speed
5.4 3v Swap
I'm kidding. That would be a terrible decision.
Helpforihavesufferedliverfailure lol I was like... why? How about a vulcan swap
6.8 L V10
I love your channel Mr. Cliterous Mcfartlan, make me totally feel better about my uncle and my dad being the same person... Thankyou
When he said “ I wish he was around today” I thought he died 😂😂
Coyote swap
Coyote swap
Coyote swap manual transmission with a procharger or twin turbo setup
Newer stick coyote engine, they sound so rowdy.
"If it ain't an LS, it just ain't right." - Dale Sr.
put the coyote motor in there don't be a one trick pony
5.8l from the 13-14 gt500
Aluminator 5.2 flatplane
manny flash aluminator comes with a cross plane but I agree aluminator all the way
jordan osborn sorry thats what I meant
I would do 351 stroked with a power glide. Something different or 5.8 motor with a power glide.
It’s needs the Coyote...
You could combine the Crown Royal labels and the Crown Vic. Do up entire sections of the car with overlapping stickers, maybe do a design with the colors of the labels, clear coat it when it's done.
5.0 High Output
Barra engine swap... Keep it ford.
Dakota Taylor I love the barra... been trying to find one for a new edge build
the barra m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=lFSRK-Jjgdg
That would actually be a sweet swap but would be pretty expensive with shipping everything
Dakota Taylor It’s really hard to find a Barra engine in the U.S.
Mike Isaac
I've looked at a few on ebay
If you can get up with an import export company that does container shipping probably can get one shipped in the states for 3k
Ford 4.6 DOHC. They were used in the Mustangs of that era, the Mercury Marauder, and the Lincoln Aviator. Slap a couple turbos on their and she'll move.
COYOTE
ACtually, Keep it ford, but cross it with the greatest turbo ford engine ever designed, the Aussie Barra! 4L of turbocharged brutality!
There's a place in Sacramento CA called Leer Auto Electric that sales police sirens, you need one for Neighbor
Doesn't matter what motor but throw in a sequential gearbox and turn it into a road track car.
Stick coyote!
Once I saw every one else voted for the coyote I was soon relieved!!! I love that motor and I love this channel and the people behind it!!! It's a great day to be an AMERICAN and to be a viewer of Cleetus.
Coyote manual of course!!!
2003 terminator mustang engine swap
Al J I second this. Then throw in a huge supercharger or a big turbo
I'd say, stick with a built 4.6L with a Kenne Bell supercharger just to make it easier. or Ford Coyote.
Coyote 5.0 please i love leroy and all but its a ford keep it ford
Ford Barra
Do a trition v10 out of a motor home or something. But you mentioning the kirky quad seat set up, now that’s sweet.
STICK SHIFT COYOTE
Coyote stick shift
I agree fully
As much as I love an ls, I say go coyote..... just to be different.
Owning a Panther myself I would love to see what kind of abuse an auto ford trans can take. Especially with a trans brake, high stall converter, and hydro e brake.
Coyote swap manual
4.ltr for barra turbo 6

If its just for epic burnskies: Coyote 302 with all titanium valve train, underdrive pulleys and supper light flywheel. Put ITB's that stick out of the hood and wind it up to 8500rpm. I love some boost. But for the theater of it all, noise...

Twin turbski coyote
Crow-yote!
I said do a LS stick shift V8 have not seen very many Crown Victorias with a Chevy V8 in it you could also do twin turbos later on down the road or nitrous
5.0 coyote! Just like the old Crown Vic's
I know where Holley wants to go! Pontiac Michigan! Aka a freaking pontiac in a crown vic. Possibly never done before?
Seriously pontiac motor!
Adam the ninja Smith soooo you'd put a even more expensive less reliable engine in it? Na.
