- Complete cylinder head install on a Ls6 engine with the torque sequence using an Automotive Torque Angle Gauge 360 Degree Rotating Wrench Angle Measuring Tool.
There are differences between some of the Ls models. Some models have two shorter main bolts that require different torque values. Make sure you look up your model torque specs.

This is literally what I been looking for , thanks 🙏
Thank u Bru, u make it look easy lol and took most of my stress away lol
Bro this is exactly what I was looking for , thanks 🙏
Glad if it can help.
are impact sockets better to torque head gaskets on 5.3 ? or standard crome ok...thank you in advance...stay safe
Impact are fine, although I've never had a chrome one break so I'lm sure any socket would do.
Hi,can I go 25ftlb,50ftlb,last 75ftlb.?
I know there are other ways to do this but this is the only way that I know.
First time doing head gasket on my engine what you use to clean the surface
Just a razor blade and some breke cleaner. Don't use scrub pads because if the material from the pads gets in the engine it can duk up your crankshaft bearings.
@@miatajackdiy4293 hey, I got a question I was doing a compression test on all eight of my cylinders and one of them was blowing air from the intake ? And the compression was showing no compression
@@safwanhassan1885 If one cylinder has low compression, try pouring about a teaspoon of oil into the spark-plug hole and retesting. If compression increases, it's likely the rings are stuck or worn. The oil acts as a seal and helps close the gap between the rings and the cylinder wall through which the cylinder is losing pressure.
yea that worked ! it got back and i think their was some build up holding the valve open i clean that with break clean i never seen such numbers like 210@@miatajackdiy4293
@safwanhassan1885 Sweet, glad to offer my limited knowledge...lol.
So it 22 ft lbs 90deg 90 deg then 22 ft lbs smaller bolts and that’s it correct
Yes sir. The small bolts are last after everything.
I thought first pass was 22 then 90 degrees and final 70. You went 90 degrees on 2nd and final pass. Weird

@@miatajackdiy4293 when I took off the heads on my hummer H2 all of them had long bolts. And I looked at the service book and it says 22 feet pound first pass 90° second pass and 70° the final pass. that’s why I was kind of confused.
@@buddyrebel_GarciaExcept for 9-10, in the third round, pull it at an angle of 51 degrees
