I just opened a kiln and had a combo that had huge pin holes and I was so sad but I’m going to try and adjust it to a similar combo to re fire. Thank you for showing your tips!
I have a magnificent bowl With 3 blisters on the rim. I don’t want to refire. Have you ever considered sealing the blisters with a propane torch? Or sanding and filling with maybe nail polish?
Thanks a lot for advice! I've just finished refiring using your schedule and blisters are gone. But. Some new really big blisters appeared somewhere else 😢 my kiln is located on the terrace and is exposed to cold, may this be a problem? Any insight is much appreciated
Some clay bodies don’t like to be refired and some glazes! I wouldn’t think it would be the cold, lots of people fire in a shed no problem! What clay do you use?
Glaze has silica in it and sanding it, whether with sandpaper or a power sander, should be done safely under a fan hood or outdoors while wearing a mask. Breathing in glaze dust causes silicosis. Please take more care for yourself as well as your viewers. What you did was not safe.

No I think your only choice is to refire! If they are small I have just sanded them but I propane torch isn’t going to work!
Great troubleshooting tips! Thank you!
You are very welcome!

@undsethpottery Might be the case.. I used local clay and glaze, and I'm from a different continent so wouldn't be very informative)
Which brush do you use to reflate? It looks like it’s adhering well.
Reglaze
I actually got them off of Amazon, they are a fan facial brush, I love them! Much cheaper than other glaze brushes!
