I went to Tropic Star 4 years ago, best fishing of all time. I got 3 blue marlin, a black marlin, and countless sails and mahi. Unfathomably special place.

Their website states when the best times for what are. Forgot to mention but I also got a 45 lb rooster fish. Not gonna sugar coat it it's very expensive

There's bass and catfish in the ocean. if you're gunna suggest fresh water atleast suggest something interesting like alligator gar or fresh water tarpon in Nicaragua or something like that. Any toddler with a $15 Walmart pole can catch bass or catfish.
@David Carlson I agree but I feel like it should be more of a multi species freshwater episode. Bass are so overdone that it think they have lost there novelty for most people that watch his vids.

I love this type of fishing - fish against man. Totally different from the "winching" which I deplore and which, unfortunately, is taking over American deep sea fishing. What satisfaction can a person derive by pushing a button and let the winch do all the work. Keep up the good work. And please don's descend to the lower levels. (I do understand, however, that older of disabled people my need a winch. ) Kind regards.

they mostly fish the gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic ocean but in this vid they were fishing the pacific ocean
