If it still matters. The reason is that this guy has upgraded his equipment in the after-boss forges. Your drops increase in pluses which gives them stat-points. Grinding them is the way forward from beating the game on normal.

If your ability to dodge is good you can do a full run with the cursed sword, i did but i was kill in the castle... no achivement for me :(
The cursed sword is actually pretty good. A no-hit run would be quite a bit easier with it.

Man the Assassin Dagger is the bees knees. I once had one that made a freezing explosion on kills, with +100% to frozen enemies. I paired that thing with an ice bow that pierces. But I just had to go for a cursed chest and a stray monster grenade got me. FML

Harry yolo I do hope so. Although fun, the levels feel repetitive despite being procedurably generated. We'll need more levels and environments to branch out on. More bosses as well.
Forgotten Sepulcher and Slumbering Sanctuary are, like, the opposite of fun.

My god, I can't tell if that's really good pixel art or 3D models made to look like pixel art. It's really neat either way.
They make them as 3D models and then render them with a pixel art shader.

apdroid geek then this game is clearly not meant for you, different kinds of games for different kinds of people. I didnt sink hundreds of hours on Spelunky, Enter thw Gungeon, Dark Souls, and the likes because it was easy.
This game is good fun and the difficulty curve feels just about right. Not too hard, but every enemy is still a threat. Any time I die it is always my fault.

dude, I can't even kill conjunctivius without being dead for the 10th times
In my opinion, the best way to do damage to conjunctivius is the wolf trap, because when it attacks you with the rapid attack, it sometimes go a little to the center and it blocks in the trap for a lot of seconds, so you can use your bow or your sword or something else to hit him.
PS: sorry if i wrote something with bad grammar but i'm not english. I hope i explained well :)

Another flawless video. Two questions if you don't mind:
1. Why no shields?
2. Do you know how to acquire a blueprint directly above the tarting room?
I can answer the second question if you want:
- To acquire the blueprint above the starting room, you need to have completed the game once.
That way, you'll acquire the homunculus rune which allows you to dissociate your head from your body.
- Once you have this, you have everything you need to get the blueprint.
First, you need to go to the secret room at the left of the starting room. If you get close to the ledge of the secret room, you'll see that there is a secret entrance to get the blueprint:

- Once inside you cannot get any further except by dislocating your head from your body. That way you'll get the blueprint.

How did you avoid the rock damage at 8:42? Frame perfect roll from the bounce on top of HotK?
These rocks only hurt while they are emerging. Usually, just jumping up will be enough to avoid the damage.

i got to the hand of the king on my 5th life and i almost killed him, I had the freeze spell and a pan that did extra damage on freezed enemies

If you think only 4 bosses is bad, theyres only 2 bosses is Killing Floor 2 (a 2 year old game thats still being updated where you frequently repeat the bosses, keep in mind)

What you did was very good, but when are the DLC bosses gonna get a chance to fight you, on five cell difficulty, now that is something on my levels of skill, who has been playing it even since it was a mere demo.
This is what I do before I do the boss fight. I will copy the save state then do the boss fight, just in case lol

I played Early Access for a while. Stopped not far after they implemented the time trial dungeons. Then I also lost access to the 360 controller I was using to play. I hate keyboard gaming with a passion and I'd rather avoid it.
Still, I really wanted to get back into this. To think I had finally found a way to ND the Incomplete One over and over.
I'm wondering what happened to the Pier(that had that timed door), the Graveyard(also had a level behind it). I believe another one was after that that I can't remember the name of, but you had to constantly light torches or get damaged by the fog.
My memories are so vivid of this game, but I feel like I'll hit some jaime vu if I play it again.

Most mutations u used on different bosses are removed and symmetrical Lance does not scale with red anymore... same for a lot of skills (and weapons maybe) u used.. like root grenade for example... (its green only)
