I didn’t buy this because I thought it had the alcoholic brandy for religious reasons. Then my husband bought it. I was surprised and am very excited to make the cream. This looks absolutely amazing

Nowhere in the Bible does it say you can't drink alcohol honey. You just can't drink so much to loose your mind. Even Jesus turned water to wine at a Wedding once. 😊.

Even if you don't roll them, you can just snack on them.

Boy, am I glad I subscribed, you have so many interesting recipes, stuff I've not run across before (although I'll have to admit to a "slight" American bias, lol ;?). I'm definitely going to try this, thanks for the inspiration, again - btw, I made the pomelo marmalade today, all I can say is WOW, this stuff is delish!!!

Greetings from Brazil! It looks amazing, I didn't know those snaps... Actually, it's not so easy to find membrillos around, here as I never see them. But you can also make another very similar recipe with red guavas. Just add water and sugar proportionally to the fruit weight and cook it untill smooth. Then you sieve through and keep on cooking a little more until the desired consistency. It goes well with almost everything, depending on its consistency. With toasts, cheese (just like with membrillos), spreading on cookies... I'm planning to make rugelach with it, I guess it's going to be great and chewy! ? Ah, forgot to include butter in my recipe with guavas cause we don't put it in this sweet. Maybe it gets ok too, I'm not sure.

Greetings from London!!!. Thank you. I know of the guava version as well. I think those are tasty as well. I think a guava rugelach will be amazing. Let me know how that goes!!

Less than 1 day with the cream inside as the brandy snap can go soggy. Or a good 3-4 days in an airtight container. You can either place some rice or silica gel to absorb moisture in the container. The mix can last about 1 week or if you freeze the mix for a good 3-6 months and then thaw, then cook and good as fresh. I hope this helps.
