- If you want to level tech skills as fast as possible this guide will teach you the most optimal way to do so. I go over every single tech skill and show you exactly what to do and where to go to spend the least amount of time leveling these skills. There's many tricks to compound learning tech skills so you can level multiple different ones at the same time. I go over every tip and trick that'll speed up the leveling process so you can have a more fun and easy time playing Starfield.

There was a glitch if you put a weapon in a weapon crate in the ship mantis, it disappeared. They might be referencing that.
thanks in advance, I have used a handful of your other guides so far, and I am still at the early stages of the game. Showing how to get to places really does help too, especially since the game HAS NO MAP!!

Yeah, there were a couple of forehead slapping moments there, a bit embarrassing tbh, but I sometimes make stupid mistakes too so it's realistic.

Just wanna say I really appreciate all your videos; you just have this "je ne sais quoi" about your Starfield videos and you explain it better than anyone else I've found since this game has released and i just wanna say Thanks Man and keep doing what you're doing and hopefully you'll keep this doing especially this game genre. MAST district is named after the government agency there. Military, Administrative and Scientific Triumvirate
Also, ship parts are Aid because they "heal" the ship and Digipicks are miscellaneous.
And, if you already have your security maxed out, you don't need to hack into the console. There is a pass card on a table on the lower level, near an NPC. If you pick it up you can skip the security step. I don't recommend picking it up until you don't need to level security anymore at all. (I don't know of you can put it away after you pick it up.)
I haven't heard anyone tried all about that passkey yet. So, you can get that one out first. 😉

One of the best way to get into the science tree is astro dynamics. Before I tried it out I thought medicine would be the most useful, however you have to eat like 200 medpacks to get lvl4, which took me forever in game. All you have to do to level astrodynamics is jump, and it makes it so you can use a smaller gas tank on your ship and still get awesome range. So if you are trying to unlock tier 2 skills like weapon and armor mods, I recommend using astro dynamics.
@@cjpack that's the other one I go for. Even with just scanner 2 you can now scan the animals from a safe distance and I totally use my scanner as a telescope to see what's over there. Scanner 2 astrodynamics 2 and you open up tier 2 science skills, and this is the easiest and fastest way to open up weapon and armor mods. You don't even need to max tier 1 skills, save your skill points for more impact full skills.

Go 30 hours no sleep and you just kinda forget things.
On the robot kills. If you notice those little boxy looking cleaning robots, they also count as a kill, when you destroy them. One shot kills, very easy to gain on that skill.
Its repeatable, even if you complete all 6 tiers. You dont have to leave early. If you are going to do tier 6 though, definitely apply the weapon and shield upgrades

There's no need not to finish tier 6. When your done you can just exit and reenter and start over from tier 1. I did this this to level my piloting and clearing tier 6 doesn't lock you out of anything.

Note - you need to be level 10-18 to START this method (to unlock most / all of the level 1 skills) and level *72* to have enough skill points to max out all the tech tree skills. So, just play the game, enjoy it, most skill challenges level up as you use them in normal play, only a few skills need dedicated “farming” to increase.
You can 1-72 in minutes with outposts.

Just FYI there is no tier 7. After you complete six you have finished the final tier. I never tried to go back in after I completed it so maybe it locks you out if you beat the hardest tier.
You can just exit the simulator go back in immediately. Only your best result will count so no worries, keep doing it and you will max out piloting/ballistics etc fast
@@ykalon yeah I'm already full. I was just bringing it up because he said someone told him not to go to tier 7. I was just pointing out there is no tier seven.

If you're past the Crimson Fleet story line and they don't attack you in the Kryxx system you can go to the Serpentis system and jump between planters and get attacked by spacers, pirates and starborn almost every time. Easy exp farm for the energy weapons and such

I don't think he realizes that ship parts are under the aid tab.
He even said it out loud once, then immediately went back to checking resources for them.
On the outposts weapons crates you dont have to destroy everything, just destroy/pickup beacon, destroys everything

I don't know if it was a bug for me but I hijacked a crimson fleet ship and then no pirate attacked me , some body respond if it was a bug or is it legit.
Can you fulfill all 4 level requirements then spend the skill points later when you have enough?
No you do them as you unlock tiers

How you don't know Ship Parts are in "AID" & not under Resources -- and the Game has been out since the 6th ? Like 3 weeks & you don't know that ❓
I've never ever had to heal. Also it makes no sense. "Aid" is stuff like foot fungus cream, pills, and medicines. Not a giant crate of greasy metal parts.
Figures out ship parts are under Aid at the first shop... proceeds to never look at aid again while searching for ship parts...

I had this issue with one of my ng+. There are three ways to get to well. The elevator by the tram I believe residential stop works really well

I'm level 51 after 300 hours in the game. I have particle beam weapons and turrets maxed. You do NOT need to be level 60.
It guarantees the viewer can buy the weapons listed.
Build a exp farm .. get every tech maxed in a few days . End of story

Outposts will get you lots of 'em. So much you can't spend them till you unlock the next tiers. I'll have vids out eventually on the subject and what to do but I wanted to make these first cause they're harder to do.

To get the good ones you do, and it takes minutes to hit 60.

Ship parts are in Aid because they heal your ship
When I think of "aid" I think of a medical section at the store. I don't expect to see crate full of random metallic parts in such a place.
