In this video I attempt to beat a remake of one of my favorite PlayStation 2 games: Persona 3. Now there is a catch, I can only beat the game with the protagonists starting persona: Orpheus. GG I don’t know if you noticed how poor the boss AI was? I went into my solo, orpheus only, no random encounters run thinking it wouldn’t be possible to beat but past Arqa the game became more and more trivial even on Merciless

Me who plays Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy VII with the default weapon: I think I'm down with this challenge.
Before actually watching, I did this with Reload which has less QoL stuff and a less broken battle system.
Yes, you can beat Reload with only Orpheus.

Are you aware that all party members have 2 personality upgrades? Don’t mean to be rude, but I noticed you only mentioned upgrading Yukari’s personality trait of lowering the cost of healing skills by 50%.
You can actually make it go down to 75% less by doing her other one. They all have 2nd trait upgrades by doing their other nighttime activities.
Doing Yukari’s cooking hangout 3 times, and doing her TV hangout 3 times gets you the 75% discount of healing skills for her
I was literally doing that before this video came out. Sadly I was also playing my main file so I accidentally overwrite my Orpheus run

This is gonna make me sound like a smart ass, but nyx technically has 14 phases. She starts as the fool (0), and goes to death (13). Just saying. Still good video tho

Im going to preemtively say: "Yes you can and probably not very hard in the long run", because you can stat grind with the Arcade and incenses as well as Emperor/Empress Major Arcana cards, and you can add almost any skill you want through Skill Cards, so by staying on one Persona you basically mod him over the entire game with the mother of all elite tweaks.

When you don't complete any other social link other than the 3 that automatically rank up, the scene where you hear their voices is skipped entirely.

Me: Considering both times I’ve played persona 3 games, I’ve done Orpheus only or in my case so I can have fun with other personas, MC’s actual personas so Thanatos, Telos, Messiah, I’d say you have to be stupid to say no
Orpheus awakens/evolves if you max out all social links
Why wouldn’t the answer be yes?
