The rival battles are absolutely brutal in Emerald Rogue 2.0

Are you aware that all party members have 2 personality upgrades? Don’t mean to be rude, but I noticed you only mentioned upgrading Yukari’s personality trait of lowering the cost of healing skills by 50%. You can actually make it go down to 75% less by doing her other one. They all have 2nd trait upgrades by doing their other nighttime activities. Doing Yukari’s cooking hangout 3 times, and doing her TV hangout 3 times gets you the 75% discount of healing skills for her

I would have preferred it if you just used Pyro Jack and no other partner member on easy mode (with perhaps allies using healing skills). Otherwise, this isn’t really a challenge since it’s just a regular Persona 5 play through but Joker isn’t broken. Otherwise, cool video

I love Persona as much as the next guy, I really do. Hell, I STARTED with Persona before a mainline SMT game (which for me was the OG Nocturne, though 2 is pretty good too), but the constant comparisons between the two by western fans is really, REALLY annoying. ....Though, i can understand the Pokemon onres more bc... that's kinda what SMT is really. And yes, Vengeance improves on literally everything, though the story still suffers from the alignment and character imbalances along with too much 'off screen character development marches on' nonsense with its side characters, or not enough fleshing out of key character points within the main narrative. This is honestly a hold over from the narrative direction philosophy that has been with the game since SMT 1, and honestly, usually works... except that this game should've been more like 4 in that regard and NOT 3... which SMT V is pretty much a mirror of in a similar way to how SMT 4 was kinda like a new take on SMT 1. As for the lack of a proper new Neutral ending... I hope they fix that bc, having only a Law and Chaos ending in the new route just feels kinda lazy since both endings are well... just improvements to the base game's law and chaos ending, though the New Chaos ending is a bit too extreme a reset ending for my tastes even if you could argue that it's the more 'moral' of the two choices.. That and both Tao and Yoko, albeit for very different reasons, are still slaves to their ideologies and neither are totally correct, so being forced to pick one even though you can still end up neutral aligned pisses me off... It honestly INFURIATES me that I can't really save either one of them from their literal slavery. This has more to do with Tao than Yoko, but she's a little too selfish for my tastes sometimes. One reason I like Yuzuru more as the Chaos hero since Yoko reminds me too much of Walter and Jimenz... but slightly more sympathetic. Tao being the new Law Hero makes more sense once you understand that she's a literal slave to the order that IS the system itself... and I wish there was an option to literally beat the brainwashing or need for revenge out of both girls and just kick Lucifer's ass together instead of being railroaded into one or the other path. Plus, I'm slaty that Sahori died and EVEN MORE pointless death this time around.... Ngl though, the CoV version of her mini arc hit home a lot more for how short it was.... But yeah, they still did her dirty...

Also about Satanael’s gun and name. In Judaism, Satan is known as the “accuser” or “prosecutor”, since he is the one brining up all the sins one committed to god, the judge. And the word suffix of “-el” means “of god”. Making Satanael mean “the prosecutor of god” which is metal as f”k And while technically a different character, Lucifer Morningstar often gets confused with Satan, so I think it’s worth bringing it up. In the book “Paradise Lost” Lusicfer built what can only be described a laser gun to shoot down god. It didn’t work but still worth mentioning. But it is likely just there to fit in better with Joker as a character
