in somehow this Episode feels like the old episodes from byb builds because from the fun and jokes and sense of humor in this episode i can tell u are really look enjoying rebuilding the car ❤❤
The ZF 8 speed transmissions need to be filled while the car is jacked up leveled, with the engine runing, and the transmission fluid is between 40-50c. If you didn't do a final fill with the engine running then you are low on trans fluid.
Love seeing people rebuild newer cars, shows that anything is possible with a goal 💪💪

ZF 8HP Transmissions will make a little "whine" during acceleration between 2,500-5000. That whine is normal in the ZF transmission.

If you bore out an adapter another time… use brakecleaner as cooling/lube for the cutter… :)

I’m having the same issue but I have a 2017 340xi. For me it’s the transfer case. But my transmission isn’t slipping.

Would be good to get the car in the workshop and up on the ramp and then everything can be fully stripped down and repaired fully. It’s hard to see what your doing at times when lying under the car showing us the repairs. Fingers crossed you get your own workshop again soon and jig etc. make your life easier. keep up the good work.. 👍
