Ryan’s Thought Process: “The only person I feel like that can beat me in this race is right infront of me, I need to pass him ASAP” *passes him* “This guy shouldn’t fight me because it’s a long race and I’m saying ‘hey work with me here’ “😂😂😂
I have watched several videos of you on this track and Ocala and am blown away that you seemingly win these races almost solely under braking. The biggest gains you make are under braking and to the apex. Well done.
Very good info and tactical thinking behind racing Shame you seem to have these do or die merchants that mess you up if you outsmart them Interesting to note your braking points though thats what impresses me keep em coming Ryan thanks as always 👍🏁🏁
Ryan, when I first saw this video when you first posted it, to me it looked like you turned into him, seeing your steering wheel turn to the right. But now going through it frame by frame, you can just see under your arm that he is making contact with the backside of your front wheel, which would cause that turn in. It's easy as a "Monday morning quarterback" to jump to conclusions, especially with only one camera angle. You have my subscription, and I look forward to watching more of your videos. Good luck with your future races.
I wish I had a camera on the other side as well. We would be able to see much better. Glad you took the time to do that and thanks for the subscription! Means a lot!
Being part of such a competitive team you must be analyzing all data your lap timer and GoPro can provide. But what should you actually be looking for when analyzing the data? I think a video on how to analyze data would be really helpful. Great video as usual, you’re the man!
Thanks for watching! I look for the deceleration and acceleration to look similar to a V. One straight line down on braking and one almost straight line up on acceleration. I try to avoid the line looking like a U or a W.
You make good videos can’t lie about that so I subscribed lol. Also it’s crazy how much you think while racing I think I’ve noticed it slightly in my driving as well there’s a lot of strategy going on in these short time frames
Good grace and great commentary! You should get a rear facing go pro or a 360 cam so you can see footage from all angles especially for situations like these.
can you do a video on race starts its my first season were i have a good chance at winning the championship but my main rivals are way more experienced
the #303 undoubtedly tried to close the door to spin you around but he wasn’t ahead enough to do it, do you think if would have sent it down the inside he would have got the move done? because if he did, he would have had the inside for the last 2 turns and he would have went across you after sending it, leaving you without the choice to switchback. (i hope i explained it clearly 😂, anyway greetings from italy!)
My question is it seems like your average start is around midfield and always work your way to a podium. Is that just cause the Structure of the previous sessions?
Hey Ryan. I'm not up on your series rules so help me understand why u get a penalty for the guy dive bombing u & u get a bumper penalty ?? & what was the penalty ??
Hey bro, I got a question. With the old exhaust for x30 everyone here in Australia is using the new exhaust for x30. Have you guys tried the new x30 exhaust over there and what’s your thoughts on it if you have
Hi im a french kart racer and i just moved to kz from x30 and there’s a lot of big guys and i just feel like i can t have their pace anyways live the vids
Glad you have your own opinion on the race and took time to watch the entire video. This is why I post every pass so everyone can make their own assessment. Thanks for watching, respect the criticism
That number one plate is gonna come back to this man without a doubt.

hahahaha my honest thoughts during the race
Love the work you put into these videos. Keep it up man 🙌🏽
Ryan I never realized all the strategy that went into your races! I’m amazed! 🤯
It's surprising. A lot of the strategy is made on the fly.
Thanks for this. Good luck for the final weekend. I'll be waiting for those videos.
Thank you!
10:40 JEE I DIDNT SEE THAT COMING great move
And the crash came so quick
The amount of thinking you do while you race is more than I can rewatching one of my races, let alone during my races
Thanks man! It becomes more natural the less you have to think about driving technique
@@NorbergNation it clearly works! Good luck
Premier tactics! Thank you for the inspiration. I will definitely attempt putting in some of these moves for future races :D

will you ever do cik fia races?
Possibly. It was an option last year but Covid definitely threw a wrench in that.
Great Comeback! But oups! Nice Video Ryan!

Amazing pass at 10:40! 👌🤙
Great race man!! New subscriber now 💪🏻
Awesome! Thanks!
Here I was thinking the hands up to the sky was some Gladiator Russell Crowe business asking "are you not entertained!?"
Hahaha no that’s what a meant totally what I meant to do
nice vid
Nice race
Waiting for that #norbergnation merch to drop 😩
Coming soon ;)
does the hand behind your nassua pannal on the strights do anything
Not really just where I feel comfortable

I understand hahah I think he probably would’ve won if he just stayed on the outside because he would’ve had the inside for the next two corners
So did the 3rd place guy end up winning after the bumper penalty?
Yeah he did
My question is it seems like your average start is around midfield and always work your way to a podium. Is that just cause the Structure of the previous sessions?
yes
Yeah it is. If i have a bad Pre-Final then I have to work my way through the feild.
Hey Ryan. I'm not up on your series rules so help me understand why u get a penalty for the guy dive bombing u & u get a bumper penalty ?? & what was the penalty ??
We have the pushback bumper system. If it gets pushed back, regardless of who is at fault you get a penalty
@@NorbergNation thanks man. What was the penalty ??
@@danagibbons99 5 seconds. I finished 4th after it.
@@NorbergNation oh man that sucks. That was a great drive ! What was the penalty for the driver that caused the contact ???
@@danagibbons99 He got a penalty for his actions on the start but nothing for the contact with me.

In two months we will be switching to the new exhaust. Ill know then

It just takes time. KZ is such a difficult class to race. I know quite a few smaller fast KZ drivers. Don't give up!
Alright thanks great vids
i love your eyes
Should not have gotten a penalty for that, sucks that they have a 0 exeptions on that, tough luck
What does it mean when you tap your helmet?
"Lets work together"
14th to first. I whish bro
uhh Kosmic gang gang
I'm not a fan of the drop down bumpers
They have there pluses and minuses
Ryan y do u run a MyChron 4
It gives much more accurate data
@@NorbergNation the 4 is more accurate then the 5?
@@gusblanco4813 yes it is
Couldn't pass 303 without making contact first. You wonder what the last lap move was, huh. Seems like you drove him dirty first.
You won't let anyone bully you out of a win, but you seem to bully everyone else out of the win......
