Stonecrop is great stuff. Easy to take care of and slow spreading. You should open up the fabric around the stonecrop to give it more space to spread. Also, put in some hens and chicks. Nestle them amongst some rocks and they look great. Add some rocks around the Stonecrop too.
Hens and chicks would look great around your fountain too. Fill in with some cactus or succulent soil around some of the rocks and put in some hens and chicks. They don't need much soil to propagate and thrive, and soon you will have baby hens and chicks spreading all over the rocky areas.
I like what you have done. For me I like concrete, I'm no gardener, as soon as I bought my house in Brooklyn, I put vinka in the front. I wasn't going to buy a lawnmower, and you can't have sheep as pets to cut the grass. Seriously thou my wife is the gardening person and she loves plants and flowers so we have plenty in the backyard. But I'm not the outdoorsy type, I rather be in the basement or in my home office on my computer. So to some up I enjoy other people doing garden railroading, I'll watch from the air conditioning.
Jimmy, I love the project and I really look forward to seeing it blossom (pun intended!) but honestly, when you include gardening I check out. One of my favorite things about model railroading is the fact that the plants are all fake! :-)
Looks good Jimmy but we all know this is just the start sometime in the future you will expand it cuz as model railroaders a layout is never finished even a garden railroad
I've purchased a locomotive, rolling stock, track and controller and transformer. I'm looking forward to getting started in g scale railroading.
What no tunnel, just kidding, it looks awesome keep up the great work
Not yet! hehe

Dude where is the sidings!. But yes looks cool
Excellent project Jimmy. The layout looks very nice. Please post some updates as the plants fill out and grow.
Looks great! Can't wait to see what the railway looks like when the plants get bigger.
That will look really great when the plants start growing into the layout. Looks awesome.
Well done Jimmy. A nice project which will continue to give you loads of pleasure. Have fun. 🇵🇹
Hey Jimmy, branching out and drinking SpokeWorks Gear Grinder Blend Coffee.
Super Jimmy👍👍I gotta plant some more plants this week on my G🚂🇨🇦🇺🇲🙋
Looks good and will get better as everything starts growing. 👍
A cool future feature would be a rock mountain with a tunnel in the back corner.
I'm thinking about that with a circle of track for an LGB Porter. I love that loco!
Give us updates as the plants grow! 😊
I am already planning a 1 year update!
I want to move out of the city and move to upstate NY and have my own home in Albany and I plan to build a nice garden railroad eventually…
Jimmy: You need a passenger car and a bobber to add to your rolling stock.
A future episode is going to be looking at some budget options for Garden Train Rolling stock.
@@DIYDigitalRailroad I figured! Can’t get anything past you! Just saying.

This is true. I'm also looking at live steam, but I'm not sure I can call my channel budget friendly with a straight face if I buy one of those haha!
Nice
