From the acclaimed writer/directors Scott McGehee and David Siegel (WHAT MAISIE KNEW, THE DEEP END) comes a neo-Western with an emotional tremor hiding beneath it. Two estranged siblings (Haley Lu Richardson, Owen Teague) return home to the sprawling ranch they once knew and loved, confronting a deep and bitter family legacy against a mythic American backdrop.

Haley Lu Richardson is a remarkable actress
She's getting better parts too to show her acting chops.
Almost a million views and only 12 comments? Weird. I was 100% moved by this trailer. Look forward to seeing this
I haven't watched this movie yet, but I'm going to sometime. I already know it's going to destroy me. This... this is like watching my own family on the big screen, if only you change the state, right down to ending with a million questions and a man who terrified you lying weak in his last moments. The anger and the hurt is so heavy, and it doesn't fade with time. Just going by the trailer, kudos to the cast and crew for hitting that right on the head here.
Owen Teague is a fantastic young actor that not many people know. I actually moderate a tiny subreddit dedicated to him. lol. Everyone will know his name one day -- just you wait.
Well, today, the planet of the apes the new kingdom has come out including owen teague who is the main actor and his name is becoming more and more known !!
What a beautiful trailer! It gave me goosebumps and I instantly teared up.
Bigger things are yet to come for this actress...and her name is 'Haley Lu Richardson'
I wish her all the very best :)
This movie is beautiful. Cinematography is real and amazing. No filters, less use of colour grading unlike most of modern movies these days. Please keep making movies like these. American rurals and small town have some comfort which is not anywhere else in the world, people don't make more movie like these. Try to get these movies mainstream anything can happen these days but without negotiations. Art should not affect.
This is a good movie. Highly recommended. Very good performances by Teague and Richardson and a spectacular setting. Family trauma, so many of us can relate.
finally a good looking movie set in montana. so excited
I can't wait to see this film for so many reasons!
These shots are gorgeous! Really love how they use the background to convey strong emotion.
One likes her bushy eyebrows; southern European/Slavic-like.
Be blessed, sister in spirit
This looks sensational!!!
Cant wait for this.
Watched on American Airlines fight tonight. Great movie.
this was such a sweet movie please see it in theatres it’s gorgeous
Not in any theatres on my side of town unfortunately. I would probably have to drive all the way to another side of town to see it and given how criminally high gas prices are that is a trip and money I desperately need to save. But, from what the reviews are saying about this film I am inclined to agree with you.
Great movie. Superb acting by the male lead.
Looks like a wonderful movie
I love Haley Lu Richardson in "Columbus".
Great trailer can’t wait to see it on a big screen. I was wondering what song is in the trailer? The voice sounds like Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros.
Song is called "Oh My God" by Kevin Morby!
this movie GOOD
came here because kevin morby scored this movie 🤍✨
Ooooo Owen Teague is so fine 😮💨
saw this movie and it stays with you (at least for me) for days after. a movie i want to buy
Kevin Morby! Enough said where I can watch this film
Life imitating art.
Anyone know the song in this trailer?
Oh My God · Kevin Morby
@@cAaronish Thanks!
A whole year since this came out
(Sigh) This should’ve been a streaming service feature, not a theatrical release
The movie is very long winded in its dialogue and I was really expecting more of some crazy melodrama taking place
Still this is a true-to-life portrait of family trauma showing that even siblings can still care but also have their own reasons to disagree dealing with it
Good acting on both these leads and the scenery is breathtaking
Lots about rivalry and repressed memories and secrets
It was hard to be honest to stay awake for most of this
This needed more tension to be involving and not be so languid in its pacing
Multiverse of Madness ended this movie with ease.
Pepper was the only horse I loved past the protected colony. I assassinated it after purchase on matters of discussion concept, concept they won't stop saying what it is and it isn't or never will be, ever.
Where can we watch this?

Where can I view the movie?

@@Teegh Thank you. I just signed up with Hoopla.
This movie looks bloody depressing
When how can I see this
In theaters in May
Lovely movie. Heavy and unrelenting, no real comic relief, bring tissues. Not a feel-good movie, but lots of layers to contemplate.
I have no idea what this is about
Hahahaha I had the same reaction
A woman travels back to Montana to visit her dying father after running away 7 years earlier due to a traumitic incident. Her brother hasnt seen her and blames himself for this. The movie appears to be about how they both come to terms with this. Haven't seen the movie yet, seems rather straightfoward if you ask me if you pay attention. Who knows I could be wrong.
Loved it. The mom died at the end
So your that guy huh? How embarrassing lol. Go make a friend fool
@@calilove5758 He’s like that because no one cared for him especially not his parents. I feel sorry for him. The poor guy is lonely.
@@Ernest-ATX very true bro, hope he finds happiness in life
@@calilove5758 Yea bro hopefully
looks boring
😴 💤
This the most confusing trailer ever
Really??
What is confusing about it lol? It seems pretty straight foward
What the fuck is happening
Go away
@@kenmartin7989 seriously, what is this movie about
I had such a huge problem with the whole conceit of this story. Triggered snowflake girl hates her father so much she wants him dead because….. she wrote an article that destroyed his career in reputation and then he yelled at her about it? Lol I thought it would be some abuse story. Then when she saved his life she says I feel sick about it why did you leave me alone with him as if he was some monster. Triggered for no reason Gen Z girl is the monster. Making it seem like he was an abuser because he yelled at her for destroying his life.
Gen Z SO WEIRD AND TRIGGERED.
Signed, Untriggered GenXer 😂😂😂
So you would rather her of been abused? I mean I get your comment and I'm thankful because now I don't have to watch it... This generation is a sad sack of puppies though - just thought the way you worded it was weird maybe lol
You obviously didn't pay attention. She exposed her father, a lawyer, in an school paper article because he helped cover up a toxic waste incident at the local mine. After that, he beat her up so badly (broken nose, dislocated shoulder...), she had to go to the hospital. Also, he shot her horse. So much for being a "triggered snowflake girl". I wasn't a huge fan of the film, but at least get the story straight.
He almost kill her and then kill her horse...I don't know what movie did you see
Oh wow!! Some white snowflake? Okurrr. BS. You missed the point of the movie. As a Cree indigenous native, I find your comment ridiculous. This movie has so many different twists about family, etc.
I agree with the OP. I just saw this movie on a trans-Atlantic flight. This was a very dreary and depressing movie with a dumb plot. After what her dad did to her, she told her half brother that she came to Montana to see him one last time, knowing he was in a coma that he would never come out of. Who would bother flying cross country from upstate New York to see someone you hate and who was in a coma? Pretty much nobody. Not a single happy moment in this movie. Yeah, I get it, it's supposed to be an "art house" type of movie. But it was still a dreadful movie and a waste of my time.
How can make a movie about Montana so boring? Nobody cares about some dying guy. Boring!
Would you prefer guns and splosions? Oh and trucks!! BIG TRUCKS!! How about transformers too!?!?!??!!
