“Don’t ask me that, Parker.” Great example of the Nothing Is Scarier trope. If he tells us, it’s just another thing he did. By not telling us, it’s so much scarier, because whatever we come up with, it can always be worse.
@@Mothman1992 Hes killed entire family including children. Hes just a guy who's trying to do some good to make up for all the bad. Besides it's a show.
Has to be one of the most powerful scenes of all time in any TV show. Christian's (Elliots) tone and delivery is so well done, and I love Beth's (Parker's) facial expression/reaction through their interaction. Just with her eyes alone, and the very subtle nod after Elliot pleads her not to ask convey so much emotion and sympathy, and understanding of how serious and traumatic the event he's holding back must have been. The actors and this show do not get anywhere near enough the recognition they deserve!
No, this Show, these Actors did not get the Recognition so Rightly Deserved! I Loved this Show. Best Series on Cable! The Relationships Among these Characters are Unforgettable! I Love Them! The Relationship between Parker & Hardison was Awesome! PRETZELS! LoL!
Powerhouse scene by Christian! Perfectly showcases how he and Tim Hutton can speak volumes together without speaking. My heart always breaks when he tells Parker "don't ask me that. Because if you ask me I'll have to tell you..."
This scene is a heart-stopper! It always just grabs me. Christian is a tremendous talent; he emotes so much with just the tone of his voice, the tension in his body, the look in his eyes, the calculated pauses in his lines. Amazing!
The most physically dangerous of them is the SHORTEST of them 3:20 compensating for the relative distances from each other, it's Elliot ,Parker ,Sophie and Nate/Alec
Eliot made a calculated guess on which person he could take with him -that would survive a meeting with Monroe -that is the reason he chose Hardison. Eliot care deeply about all of them, and he did want Parker to know what he did; but he told her the truth. When people show you who they are believe them!!!
Eliot was totally ashamed of what he did and will likely never forgive himself. Truly a haunted past. Seems that he's just as strong on the inside as he is on the outside.
They say it later when he agrees to work for damien, when hes in the car with the guy and the other guy says"I just wanted to take out the entire family-just like we used to" so I think your right.
Christian Kane is sooooo good as Spencer. Miss the show and wish the series was still airing. Thanks for having the warehouse gun scene saved here. His best action scene. Best wishes to him and the entire cast of Leverage. Will keep an ear out for his band now.
I loved this scene! Finally even a glimpse to Eliot's past. I hope we'll see more in season 4. Eliot is definitely my favorite character! Poor Eliot :( Now that he has developed a heart his past much really haunt him...
Hardison isn't angry at Spencer just because of this revelation; right before this scene, Hardision and Spencer met with Damian Moreau. Damian handcuffed Hardison to a wheelchair and pushed him into a swimming pool. Spencer saved him just in time, but not before he learned Spencer's history with Damian. This secret almost cost Hardison his life.
Love that you've captured this particular selection on here for us to watch and rewatch (in my case!) Christian Kane as the intellectual hitter Eliot Spencer on TV's Leverage (sadly cancelled by TNT despite winning a PCA!). Love the character and adore the actor. Thanks for sharing Ladee Leverage :)
Gotta love Nate giving him the "disappointed father" look. El needs a hug bad. Kinda wanna know what he did, but at the same time I can kinda make guesses, none of them pleasant at all
@yogurtpimp Thats what i was thinking. Because any time something goes wrong or a kid is invovled He gets very angry or wants to help no matter what happens to him.
I've heard from somewhere that we might more about Eliot's past in season 4. And so far we haven't.. So I'm hoping it would be in the final, cause then it probably is something BIG :DD
Might, scratch that, would have to work on getting just some of the "red" out of the ledger of his life for the rest of his days and it still wouldn't break even and he knows it.
Friday night’s Leverage Redemption was telling of the pain from his past expressed in his facial expression. When Breanna said that Searchlight would be able to tell of a person’s worst day. One can see the pain in Eliot’s face. Then when she says will you be in the selfie with me? Eliot says I don’t take selfies. Eliot will always have to stay in the dark from the rest of the world. He’s a wanted man.
Got to agree with you....I'm as straight as yard stick and I think the guy is good looking. Would have been awfully nice to look like him 25 years ago. LOL
Parker: What did you do? Eliot: Don't ask me that! Cuz if you ask me that I'm gonna have to tell you! Did u c Eliot n Parker they were crying!!!! N wat episode is this I wanna c it

also there's only so dark they can go without making him unlikable
I see it as less about the horrible thing he's done and more about his friendship with Parker.

Damn he looks good in all black.
Who am I kidding, he just looks good all the time.

Plus that simple nod from Parker when he says "Don't ask me". She realises what it took for Eliot to ask her not to ask him.
According to John Rogers, the extent of Eliot's crimes will never be revealed. Tolkien called this "mountains in the distance."
My heart breaks for Eliot in this scene. I agree, it's an awesome scene.

Kurt Snyder And for the heels the gals were wearing.
His hair was so good in this scene
That little nod from Parker says so much.
miss this show so much!! Christian Kane did a wonderful job as Eliot! the others were great too, but Eliot was my favorite
Shows coming back
Hey, guess what
GIVE ELIOT SPENCER A SPINOFF MOVIE! showing his early years
He is just...phenomenal. In every sense.
I love the fights endear the end of this episode, although this scene does show Eliot’s emotional depth and how much he’s changed.
Eliot made a calculated guess on which person he could take with him -that would survive a meeting with Monroe -that is the reason he chose Hardison. Your wish came true, the show is returning
@@Qari256 ...and the show is back baby!!! Love Leverage...and Love the new season...but man do I miss Nate!
This was always one of my favorite scenes! So much shared with words and without them! It was painful to watch, but a great scene.
I loved this scene! Finally even a glimpse to Eliot's past. I hope we'll see more in season 4. Eliot is definitely my favorite character! Poor Eliot :( Now that he has developed a heart his past much really haunt him...
awwww he looks so....I dunno, almost vulnerable in this scene.
God I miss this show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Damn that boy is beauitiful
Damn his voice is So hottttttttttttttttttttttttttt
That's just...wow...and wow.
Loved it with Nate and the original cast.
This scene made me so sad :(

Harrison made it out of the pool on his own after Moreau threw the key into the pool

We can hope Netflix has the sense to commission at least 1 more.
Elliot is a rugged pretty boy!
@yogurtpimp he most likely killed an entire family, including kids. "Leverage" is awesome at not telling the audience backstory, but suggesting it.
This is an excellent scene. Thanks for sharing.
Those who love Christian Kane in Leverage should check him out in The Librarians.
They really shouldn't ... I started to watch that show because of him, turns out, not even Kane can save the Librarians.
This is one of the best scenes I've ever seen and Christian Kane does his part so perfectly what a great actor. But can he really cook? LOL
Yes! It actually annoyed the producers that he cooks so well. 😂
Gotta love Nate giving him the "disappointed father" look. El needs a hug bad. Kinda wanna know what he did, but at the same time I can kinda make guesses, none of them pleasant at all
I'm sorry, but Christian looks like a total rock-star....
The Big Bang Job on Leverage is The best TV performance ever! If you haven't watched it you have missed an exciting moment in your life!
Love Leverage, great video!
@yogurtpimp Thats what i was thinking. Because any time something goes wrong or a kid is invovled He gets very angry or wants to help no matter what happens to him.
This makes me want to kiss him to make him feel better.
Christian...just let me love you.

The best action and acting scene on TV period Christian Kane delivered he should have an award for this!
Anyone else think he might of killed a child?
… More than likely…
@loco320 I know, I'm a major fan. But he looks specifically like a rockstar
thats the best kind

Got to agree with you....I'm as straight as yard stick and I think the guy is good looking. Would have been awfully nice to look like him 25 years ago. LOL
@KristineFangcreed he is a countrysinger :P
Parker: What did you do?
Eliot: Don't ask me that! Cuz if you ask me that I'm gonna have to tell you!
Did u c Eliot n Parker they were crying!!!! N wat episode is this I wanna c it
@loco320 Hahaha! Definitely. But even then, he looked like a rockstar. Look up some pictures of the character Lindsay McDonald.
foi confirmado um reboot pessoal
@loco320 Or if his hair was a bit shorter, like he did in the last season of Angel
dammit! didn't see til this episode...but just enough to know who moreau is....
I wonder if we will ever learn what that thing is.
More likely… a score of things… or maybe two… or twenty….
Much like Nate held this team together, I think Tim Hutton held the show together.
@KristineFangcreed pff countrysingers / rockstars need a lil hair on their head.. haha
