- Phillip Phillips has told interviewers that the songs on his 'Collateral' album are fueled by both anger and love. No wonder it sounds so diverse. The singer is known for his 'American Idol' win in 2012, but he's steadily proven himself as an artist since then, clocking victories with "Home" and "Gone Gone Gone." The charm he brings to the tracks on 'Collateral' became even more apparent when he hit our studios to perform both "Magnetic" and "Dance With Me." He really gets to the heart of these tunes in a stripped-down setting.
