- Phillip Phillips has told interviewers that the songs on his 'Collateral' album are fueled by both anger and love. No wonder it sounds so diverse. The singer is known for his 'American Idol' win in 2012, but he's steadily proven himself as an artist since then, clocking victories with "Home" and "Gone Gone Gone." The charm he brings to the tracks on 'Collateral' became even more apparent when he hit our studios to perform both "Magnetic" and "Dance With Me." She says something about a sexy little kick he does while singing. So I went looking for him to see if he was real. And darned if he wasn't and he does do a sexy little kick during his songs.
