    Great addition of ceramic rope as gaskets for your safety. A bit of leftover gasket material could be placed between glass and vibrating edges to dampen sound and vibration. Secondary air vents are terrific. Obviously functional. Are thin (1-2cm) fire brick available for bottom and back of firebox; adds thermal mass and reduced metal fatigue. Stay safe with COVID-19. Looking forward to your next installment. Until then, be well. Cheers

    Consider modifying your command center tent by building a permanent chimney structure with side thimble access. That way a stove could be removed without moving the entire chimney stack. Individual stoves can have riser pipes that connect with a 45° or 90° angle pipe into the chimney. Although traditional chimney structures are made of brick and ceramic tile, you could build a frame using angle iron or perforated steel to support the length of the pipe stack.

      @campingtogether  4 года назад +2

      @@henryoh2546 제법 급격한 온도 변화가 있어나 봅니다. 저는 티탄컵의 물이 튈 정도였는데, 라면이 쏟아질 정도면 심하네요. 얇은 판이 국부적인 냉각과 가열에 변형이 일어나는 듯 합니다. 상판을 추가하시면 그런 위험은 거의 해소가 될 것 같습니다. 난로는 전체적으로 연소가 잘 되던지요? 상판 튕기는 현상 말고 다른 문제점은 없었는지 궁금합니다.

    Brilliant! I've been binge watching all your stove build videos (propane tanks, this one, etc.) Does this style (verses the propane tank ones) throw out much heat? Could it be used to heat a small area or is it simply for cooking and wouldn't be very efficient as heat?

    • @campingtogether
      @campingtogether  4 года назад +3

      To be honest, titanium is a good material for heat dissipation, conduction, and heat resistance. But it is expensive. Carbon steel is basically a good material. Stainless steel has relatively weak thermal conductivity compared to the previous ones and has a large coefficient of thermal expansion, so local deformation easily occurs during initial heating. However, it is a material that is readily available in the Korean market, and it has the advantage that it does not require welding, so I planned to make this stove. It can be used for hot tent camping and is designed for cooking. I hope it helps. From Camper in the southern region of Korea.

    요리, 난방은 한 방에 해결할듯...
    저 실물 그대로 화실만 세배 정도 확대해서 주물로 만들면
    하이엔드급 럭스리 스토브로 등극 가능할듯...

    Very nice set up but a little complicated to operate ! 2 air in take ( both side ) 2 turbo secondary air supply , a damper in chimney , but boy it puts out some heat . Dose smoke goes away after it is warmed up and secondary kicked in ? Ps man you can eat .

      Hi. From what I have experienced, when I put firewood with high water content, the smoke does not disappear completely. Until the wood was carbonized, I had no choice but to smoke. It is interesting to see what results will be achieved by adding a refractory brick on the baffle plate and introducing secondary air into the upper firebox. Thank you and stay safe.

    Hi Firstly wanted to thank you for the video and secondly wanted to ask, Isn't it better if you get yourself a cheap DC Argon TIG welding machine and do the stuff faster and cleaner? I think in your region you can buy it so cheap. And by the way your Grinder experience seems to be at master level by now. lol hope to see you soon with better vids.

      I have practiced SMAW and FCAW. But I am not good at it. I wish I could do GTAW, but for now I feel this is enough. Maybe I think I need a GTAW tomorrow. Thank you.

      @@campingtogether It is so easy and i think by practicing around a week or so you will learn it and you will love it. If you have any question about it let me know I am an ARGON TIG welder too. Good Luck

    When I saw the first video I was left thinking: why he didn`t implement the rope seal method to the upper portion, nice move there by making a 2nd vid.

    И опять я - первый русский!!!
    У меня к вам ( уважаемому человеку) два предложения
    1 - печь Аквариум из стекла, было бы очень красиво и тепло
    2 - печь из раковин из нержавейки, очень не дорого и так же гениально
    3 - не силен в языках, может кто то скажет более понятно)
    Мне нравится твоя идея))))

    If you want to get rid of that glass rattling, add that rope insulation all around the glass frame. Simple.

    ok cool !!... mais pour que la vitre ne tremble pas ,il suffirai juste de mettre un petit bout du fil resistant a la chaleur tout autour de l encadrement
