FI was such a weird companion for me she had amazing music and some cool moments but some times she got on my nerves but the ending scene of the game really changed my mind and I noticed what FI was really meant to signify she was meant to be the "perfect guide" incapable of emotions but then she says she can feel happiness, she has given up her robotic tone to not using calculations in these last few sentences, she has realized she is more than just a guide with one purpose before imminent death for her, she has emotions
But Midna is still my favorite lol

I cry everytime... I have so many memories with this game. I don't know why it gets so much hate. Skyward Sword came out when I first got into Zelda. And I think Fi is the best companion. I hate it when people hate her. God I love the Legend of Zelda.
I guess itls because of the atmosphere...itls so different from othe games like Ocarina of time or majora's mask but I think, itls beautiful in itls own way. Skyward Sword is...soothing. Itls at least not creepy like mm which gave me nightmares or the brain eating thing in the well ij Kakariko in Oot. I can only speak for me...

I think Fi is kinda underrated. Navi too. They aren't really that annoying. And Fi was actually pretty good even as a character.

Julia Curry hmmm... 11 when I got it... Around 12 when I beat it and 13 the second time I beat it. I'm 13 right now.
I got it when I was 14 (I'm 15 now, haha), 'cause my mom didn't want to spend 18 thousand dollars on a fancy remote and the game (had to use my own money XD). I beat it in like, 2 weeks, because I played like, 6 hours a day (seriously). One more question, that's it! How many other Zelda games did you play before Skyward Sword?

Me at the beginning of the game: "Ugh, shut up Fi! Will you ever leave me alone!"
Me at the end of the game: "Wait, don't go... please don't leave me."
This brings back some memories of playing this game... Fi was easily one of the best companions in the Zelda series by far... Although, I thought she at the end when she said I need to tell you something when she says Thank you.... I was waiting on her to say "Master, Your batteries in your Wii Remote are low" Lol But this brought those feels back

well everyone has their own opinion. I loved her a lot too. but one does not simply say that it wasnt annoying when she bugged u with "master ur batteries r nearly depleted"

My favorite companion is Minda but Fi is my second Fi's theme is just the best
I love Fi as a companion (not that I didn't like the other ones) though she told you about your battery % and stuff that you already knew, I think we took it for granted. Yeah sometimes she was annoying, but Fi was always there through the adventure and would show her presence, not as annoying navi and not as mean as Midna could get. I cried when I first read the dialogue about putting her into the pedestal, I couldn't do it until I calmed myself down. Not only that, but Impa dying after Fi, broke my heart even more. (please don't give me any hate on why I like Fi a bit more, we all love LoZ so just respect my opinion)
I hated Fi every step of the way. There's nothing to love about a character that holds your hand like you can't handle any thought processes. As an autist, I've hated it when people did this to me in real life, it was the last thing I wanted in my favorite franchise. She wasn't a companion, she didn't show enough emotion or character to be considered one, she was only a robot that dispensed obvious lines like a captain obvious's brain uploaded into a computer.
The only 2 things good about her is that she's gone and her theme sounds nice.

I actually have a bit of a theory (it's not very good.) So the Master Sword seems to be broken or rusted in the previews we've seen. What if Fi was forced to leave the sword and go somewhere else because of the state it's in?

Am I the only one that actually likes Navi? I mean, she can be annoying sometimes, but I like listening to her voice (Watch out! Look! Listen!) and she actually reminds me that I should save the world instead of fishing. 😂. Oh, and Kaepora Gaebora sometimes gives useful advice and also free rides.

After knowing what happens at the end of this game, this song makes me cry
I've always been a Twilight Princess. ALWAYS. But Skyword Sword is different. It's something else, not just a game. Fi is simply perfect with very emotional feeling and meaningful.

I remember in twilight princess after the credits Midna speaks to Link and says, "Link, I..." and I'm pretty sure everyone knows she was gonna tell him she loved him
No one actually better hate on this video, Fi and Midna were my childhood, I grew up with these amazing themes, and I swear to god all mighty if someone hates on this, they ded 🤗

You were the most helpful, you never ceased to amaze me with your limitless intellect. You are by far one of my favorite companions, and I shall await the day when we meet again

ContestforCorea I agree with you, I always wanted to learn how to play so I figured I was going to save up to buy a keyboard and learn how to play, but it was extremely hard for me because I have had surgery twice on my right hand, so it is much slower and less maneuverable but after almost giving up trying to play with both hands I remembered this song and the calming sounds with the heart-touching moment in the game I looked it up on synthesia and told myself one last try, and then I was able to play it with both hands and I just remember being super ecstatic about it and telling myself to keep trying and to not give up.

I know. Tatl is a cocky, it adds to her actual personality. Fi, well she is just weird and creepy. Midni is the next best, but Tatl is better because she has her brother Tael who she is ultimately looking for. She also makes the most sense. And say you skip the Swamp, and go to the Mountain, beat the mountain and instead of saying "You should go to the Ocean through the West Gate" she will say "Wait up, you haven't finished your deeds in the Swamp!" which makes sense.

+Alphabott Fisher Nah mate Midna is better, she lost her frickin kingdom to EVIL, plus, who cares about Tael, we know barely anything about him. Tatl has far less character development than Midna and is less relevant to the plot. Midna is less of a companion and more of her own spirit, that's why I love her. She was using Link at first to get her kingdom back but then realised that she had feelings for the world of light and Link, therefore helping him to save Hyrule too. She is also useful in battle as she has a frickin fist in her hair and she sacrifices herself at the end to let Link and Zelda escape from Hyrule castle. She is truly the most valiant and greatest character in the whole series. Think about it she's just by far superior to any other character that Link has paired up with. Don't get me wrong I like Tatl but she doesn't hold enough will or emotional power as Midna. This is just my opinion, not fact, I realise this, but my opinion is now out there.
+Alphabott Fisher also, Midna makes more sense because she has more of a motive to help Link, even be it manipulative at first. Honestly, play Twilight Princess again and pay attention to the story, then you'll understand
Funfact: In Breath of the Wild, the last memory in Ash Swamp, where Link "dies" in Zelda's hands, Master Sword starts to glow and "tells" Zelda that Link still can be saved, and there was Fi's lament playing! Which means, Fi is still here, and we might see her in Breath of the Wild 2.
EDIT: Another apperance of Fi, in the memory where Zelda puts the master sword to rest until Link reawakens, Fi's Lament's melody starts to play in the end if I remember right.
Loz is so good at making you hate your own companion but when something bad happens to them your like "shit. SHIT. FUCK!" And then you panic to save them.

I finished Skyward Sword for the first time 6 months ago, this ending with Fi almost made me cry. Honestly, how many batteries do you guys go through? She only bothered me with that like once, in the WHOLE playthrough. She's not even that annoying.
good thing i'm not the only one who nearly cried during that scene. The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword was the first Zelda game I've ever played. Why does everyone hate fi so much?!
