I wanted to murder Handsome Jack after he killed Roland back when I played Borderlands 2 on 360 like 6 months ago, but now playing Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, I have to admit; Jack has a lot of character development and I am starting to like him as a character.
Jack is kinda twisted character - he was an power-hungry-ass before he was turned into Handsome Jack just listen to his echoes in Pre-Sequel, the whole situation just make him more cynical and confident. I love to hate him - however after playing B:PS I do understand more his hatred towards Vault Hunters.

The fact about Mordecai is actually kinda neat because throughout history, colorblind soldiers have often been chosen to be snipers because they can spot the difference in camouflage easier.
You can find little of Krieg's backstory from the short "A meat bicycle made for two" or from his dialog like the voices inside his head treated to suicide(which is the only thing made Krieg a little bit sane) if Krieg ever hurt an innocent person. You can find Gaige's backstory by listening to the echo recorder found on the internet (I gues, I don't know where does it actually is)
