Đà Nẵng #1. I may be bias my wife is from there and most of our family live near there.
Great video and topic: Which one to choose. Personally, I have relatively recent experience with Phu Quoc, visited there 2019 with my wife and two kids, easily one of the best experiences in Vietnam and travelling overall. Having a private villa in a five star resort was a next level experience. As for Nha Trang and Danang, visited both back in 2008, so cant really say much for what they are today. We’ll be travelling both cities again this summer, getting already super excited 😎 Stay frosty 👍🏻
@tranduy2668 PQ back in 2019 was ok priced. We did pay a lot for that private villa for Vietnamese standards, but from European point of view it was almost cheap. We actually visited VN last summer (2023) as I mentioned nine months ago, and really enjoyed Danang. Its now my new favourite over PQ: A perfect mix of sights, beaches and culinary opportunities. I liked Phuc Quoc better that Nha Trang mostly because Nha Trang was overrun by really obnoxious, aggressive and often drunk Russian tourists. Otherwise it was a beautiful place.
the russians goto thailand now since u can only stay 30 days a time in vietnam without doing visa run
From Nha Trang you can also visit Da Lat easily, I think it's just 2-3 hrs
Nothing can beat Philippine beaches

I personally liked Nha Trang better than Da Naang but Bana Hills was really incredible. Worth going to both (:
The best cleanest beaches on the mainland is the stretch between Nha Trang and Quy Nhon. If money is not a problem or you have a large family, then go enjoy Phu Quoc Island. None of these beat Thailand's beaches though.

most thai beaches are full of rocks, jellyfish season is terrible, too many farangs who think they own the place, most Vietnamese beaches are like pools, never get your feet cut up like in Thailand, but Thai beaches are still better than Bali, and most in Indonesia I'll say that. I love Koh Phangan and Koh Tao but I'll stay in Da Nang thanks. 👍
It beats Thailand for cheaper price. Remember that you pay more for the better service so please don't compare the quality of cheap service and expensive service.
