My grampa lived to 101. When he was 100, he would still ride his bicycle every morning at 7am to go buy breakfast and coffee at our local street market. My gramma was 86. Its amazing how good a simple diet of lots of veggies, fresh seafood, and minimal red meat can do for one's health. And as you can see through Sonny's videos, it can also taste delicious 😁

I watch other food bloggers but yours make me smile/laugh. They're all fine but it's pretty much a short narrative, sit down, eat and some ooohs and aahhhs. Your interaction with the owners/cooks/help add a nice perspective, make me want to be there and eat/laugh and "1-2-3 DZO" with you :-)

I know right! I'm from the central and i live in australia surrounded by southern vietnamese. So i've had both version of banh xeo but i have to say we made way better banh xeo in danang/hoi an.
I also never knew about how small, but delicious these banh xeo are compared to the big one in southern Vietnam. I lived in HCMC and my mom makes it and I make it, they are delicious. But when the time is right, I'll make it central Hoi An style. :)

I moved to live in your country (the States) a couple of years ago and I just miss home terribly. I miss a lot of things about Vietnam, I miss the people, I miss the food... I have had this. It is so delicious! The version I had a lot more fillings. It was so good. This was homemade by a Vietnamese lady. I am married to a Vietnamese woman. I eat at her family’s houses all the time. The best Asian food!
