Did a 7 with the squad yesterday and it felt about right difficulty wise now, knowing that flyers should get added soon and nudge it up a bit. Recoilless is a huge glow up and feels appropriate now.
Excellent breakdown and a 🫡 to the Divers that gave their lives for science. Overall I think the hole in the balance right now is how little the mob bugs bothered you while you tested the AT weapons. IMO you should need either a friend or a couple of cluster strikes to clear the area while you focus on the heavies.
I mean I'll still stick with the Autocannon to pop their butts but i like the changes they made. I have to try shield gen relay as apparently it not only stops chargers but reflects Bile Titan spew back at them, killing them
That's the one thing I never understood about the whole "removing the braindead playstyles". IMO, taking out the leg armor of a charger and then switching to your primary to gun down its fleshy weakspot is far more "tactical" than just shooting the head a bunch of times. Same thing with the flame/arc throwers. Like, what is the tactic they've encouraged now? Instead of holding left-click and releasing like in the railgun meta, now it's... holding left-click and releasing but faster, or just straight up holding left-click? There's even less brain needed with these weapons that they've buffed since you don't have to target certain parts anymore I really don't understand what's going on with the balancing of this game. The game plays like a really casual spectacle horde shooter, but the devs insist that it's a hardcore tactical co-op shooter where you strategize and think your plans through with your team. It really isn't
Yo! Thanks for this comment. I think you raise some interesting points here! I think they're a bit stuck themselves and experimenting with approaches. The point you make about the leg armour is right I think. I think they are more focused on getting us to try all the guns out and explore different playstyles. This new update definitely makes the game feel different. I'm not sure if I like it more or less but I'm leaning towards the latter Thanks for taking the time to write this comment!
Chargers really aren't the problem any more. The increased stalkers population however can make the game completely unplayable. The so called nerf to the bile titan spawn rate (which actually made them spawn more) even more so.
I believe you mean hunters. Stalkers are the cloak guys that come from the special bug holes. If you are having trouble with stalkers, try a weapon with stagger such as the lib concussive, the punisher shotgun, and the slugger shotgun. Hunters are in quite large swarms now, and it absolutely requires someone on the team to counter them. I've heard people do arc thrower and flamethrower, with the spray and pray as the primary (it got buffed, before it literally only tickled enemies). On some missions I personally ran slugger to deal with the medium threats; and stalwart to deal with the horde of hunters. EAT does wonders when you need to deal with something larger, and the cooldown on it is really low. "The so called nerf to the bile titan spawn rate (which actually made them spawn more)" If you ran into many bile titans on the event mission, it being the event mission is the reason. Everytime someone presses the button on a silo it spawns more bug breaches, if you hit the button 2 dozen times a match, you might end up with almost 2 dozen bile titans. It is best to clear up the bugs before you press the button again. As soon as the silo loses its hp, you can press the button again, which means if it instantly is going to lose its hp again, and someone just keeps pressing the button; you'll end up with a never ending unreal number of enemies. The silo takes significant friendly fire; so be aware of that; I have had a Gatling turret do a single turn and put it from stable to critical.
It doesn’t feel easier overall because they increased the smaller ad spawns and that can be really annoying at times. I mean I guess if you play like it’s a stealth simulator instead of spreading as much democracy as possible it might be easier but who wants to do that
What are thoughts on the recent changes folks? Sound off in the comments below!
Smoke grenade is the move when paired with the RR, sit in the smoke cloud and reload unmolested.
Haha! GREAT TIP! Thanks for sharing :D
Lmao they really do Molest don't they thw charges 😂

Can't wait for the flappers!! It's great we have a wider range of viable weapons to use too!

To be fair there were many occasions where I got absolutely carved trying to do those light tests. There can be A LOT of horde!
Thank you for the information JackFrags 👍🏽
You're not the first person to say this 🤣
Just a note: Whilst the chargers butt is unarmoured and can be damage by all weapons it is NOT a weakspot, it will take regular damage.
Thank you for sharing this. Good point, well raised!

I was able to pull off an instakill on the Charger with the Autocannon with a well place shot in the same manner.
GOOOOD finally like wow heads shots should be one shot not fking 5 rocket's
Never knew you can one shot the charger like that, really good info!
Prior to this change you couldn't in most cases
@@Koogees Makes sense but still It's cool to know you can now.

Sweet, sweet revenge.
I agreed with you on your last opinion. 100%
Nice tips there. Curious if the recent changes allow the flamethrower to kill chargers even faster on the head then the legs.
My new Bug loadout:
Sicle 16
sidearm
HE nade
EAT
Mech
Personal Shield
Stun Mortar
you know what i say about all so this :DP
The arc thrower will get nerfed next 🙄

Easy? Upload full clear of helldive in automaton and terminid please
Like I said, yesterday we were clearing T9 Terminids, absolutely no problem at all! Markedly easier than it was!
Can confirm, I watch all his streams and it was a cake walk compared to previous streams.
Beating 9th difficulty is quite entertaining, if you are really good at the game
Most of these updates are lies, reduce charger spawn? Right, thats why I just had 7 of them at the same time 😂
Those changes sound like they are making helldive much easier... For who? The loud minority of crap gamers?
It doesn’t feel easier overall because they increased the smaller ad spawns and that can be really annoying at times. I mean I guess if you play like it’s a stealth simulator instead of spreading as much democracy as possible it might be easier but who wants to do that
Even though its versatile, I dont find the arc thrower very satisfying.
