  • We're in Dubai! We're a few days late uploading but moving forward we're going to commit to uploading a new video every other day!
Dubai has made a really good impression on us so far. It's extremely family friendly and is just so unique with endless things to do!
Also, Winston and Finn have enjoyed the hotel life so far. And at the halfway point of the video, Finn has a little surprise for us ;)
    Thanks for watching!

You still there? We value family life and wondering if it’s a good fit with our 1 year old or not..

My wife and I are looking to visit Dubai with our two year old son this year. Not quite sure in the best way forward with car seats for transfers? Any tips anyone? I know it’s now the law, are they readily available? We don’t like the idea of taking ours and carrying it around all day when ever we take a cab.

We rented a car and took our car seat with and so unfortunately we can't be much help here, sorry! I would also consider renting a car if you're ok with driving, since the cab rates can get extremely costly if you're thinking of using them daily :)

The No Regrets Family What area did you stay in? We hadn’t considered a rental car, but if everything is spaced out maybe we’ll need one. We will be traveling to Dubai with a 4.5 month old in April.

@@23LavaLamps We stayed in the downtown area, near the Dubai Mall. Yes, Dubai is extremely spaced out!

How was travelling in taxis with a baby? Don’t know if I should take my babies car seat

We taxi'd for one day but then decided to rent a car. Taxi driving is a bit crazy in Dubai and also quite expensive. So we felt more comfortable in our own car with our car seat.

We have a completely different approach to kids and never allow toddlers to crawl in the common area or street. Especially with bare feet. (Please understand me correctly - I do not criticize you or English system we just afraid it)
