    Yup, just a bucket, a boy, and his guitar. Allegedly, one of the fastest shredders of all time. He literally has over 600 recordings or pikes, most sounding like this. Back some years ago, I listened to most of them (maybe some 300 at the time), and I was not disappointed. He's also performed with a lot of other artists like Les Claypool (Colonel Claypool's Bucket of Bernie Brains) even Viggo Mortensen. You've got more than a rabbit hole here, more like a bottomless pit.

    • @SightAfterDark
      @SightAfterDark  Месяц назад +1

      Woah. What did he do with Viggo?

    • @elijahakin5141

      @SightAfterDark he made music for twisted metal as well. The whole gimmick is he's a robot, born in a coop raised by chickens because he's shy. Robots don't talk, and he claims he needs the bucket and mask to get over stage fright, too. Buckethead really is on another level of guitar playing.

    • @XYz-vy7tr
      @XYz-vy7tr 21 день назад +1

      He had like 200-300 albums out before the pike series. He's pretty close to 1000 albums by now I think.

    • @PongGod
      @PongGod 5 дней назад

      @@XYz-vy7tr That's a bit of an exaggeration. I think he had several dozen albums before the pike series. His pike series is currently in the 660+ range, but approximately 200 of those were just compilations of live recordings. So I think his total collection of original albums is somewhere close to 500. Still a mind-boggling amount of great music.

      Mount Shasta and Blue Slide are both incredibly beautiful. I get mildly annoyed when people talk about him being a great "shredder". Yeah, he can shred, but he's so much more than that. Brilliant composer who can do anything with that instrument!
