Nice Zeppelin tshirt! Studio version of this track is still the best by a long way. The structure and licks are stunning and very emotional (subject matter for the track i understand is was his Aunt who gave him his first guitar and she died... he wrote this for her). One of the last licks makes the guitar sound like it is literally crying/tears are coming from it . My wife thinks I am joking but i seriously want Soothsayer to be played at my funeral!

Not Malmstein's arpeggios, not Zakk's sweeps, not Slash's sausage fingers.....Guys, a warning....the deeper you go into Bucket's mind and compositions, the more you're life will change forever. This was what Zappa tried to do, but he was sloppy and more deitized than great. Some where among Buckethead's 300+ albums is something that speaks to you, something that tears your Soul out, something that makes you question your eyes and ears, something that will make you extremely envious.......before winning you over....or planting a seed for YOU. We've spent a lot of damn time dismissing "non-mainstream" artists, and then discovering the cornerstone value of their concepts decades later.
