I'm 13, getting wisdom teeth removed. They are gonna be injecting an IV into my arm with general anesthesia. this helped me know how quickly it happens.
Lorazepam works wonders. I was diagnosed with PTSD, panic disorder and clinical depression. This is a fantastic medication. I'm so sorry you're going through those they're terrifying and I used to go to the Hospital 4 times a week with them
That’s normal, usually in a children’s hospital they give them a sort of cocktail that will calm their nerves (at least for me they do). But none the less there still going to be nervous.

Weird to see gas being used. I haven’t had gas since around ‘73 or so. Anytime I’ve had surgery now it’s an injection. Maybe cause he’s a child?
They still use gas mainly for pediatric patients I've had it used on me when I had most of my surgeries up until I was 16 years old
@joshua byrd did you prefer having the gas for anesthesia or getting it through an IV?
When I went to the dentist I got an ingection and it wasn’t really that comfortable
