I’m getting surgery in a few months and have watched this video countless times and every single time she gets taken from her parents I start crying because I know I will defo be bawling my eyes out when I get taken away from them. Also the anaesthesia terrifies me because I’m scared I won’t wake up or I’ll wake up during the surgery and be able to feel everything. Well done to this little girl for being so incredibly brave

When I had my first surgery when I was four to help me walk, I swear there was never a talk about “ Magical Air “ and they never let me take my blanket to the operating room, just me and the doctors talking about soccer before I fell asleep to the anesthesia. After that I was given just plain water and wheeled me out of the hospital while I was eating chips. I can tell you I felt like an idiot. This hospital is nicer than the one I have

I have survived cancer three times in a matter of my 12-year-old life, I couldn’t be more happy and so grateful that I haven’t lost myself to my cancer (leukemia) i’ve gone in for surgery to help really slow down and figure out what’s going on but it’s quite stressful when I’ve gone through so many surgeries from 11 months old to 12 years old now. It’s been really scary for me because me being so young it was harder for me to find out that I could of died in so many different ways so many times I hope everyone’s doing well and they don’t have to go through what I have to.

I had knee surgery which was painful later but the doctors were really nice and they calmed me when i had to get the IV in btw its painful
When i got out of surgery all i did was sleep and we. Spent a total of 7 hours in the hospital

(This was in February). I have had long-term constipation since the age of one. I went to Levine Children’s Hospital to get a tube inserted into my colon. I liked them because they let me get my bear (I was 12, but anytime I’ve been in the hospital, that bear was there with me). They said I could keep her all through my surgery. I recently got surgery and it was scary. I didn't want to leave my mom, so I cried so hard to the point I was coughing. I fell asleep before I went to the operating room. Thinking about that day makes me cry. 😭😭😭

I got tonsil surgery about 2 weeks ago. It's really not hard. The doctors were really nice and they talked about it to me and stuff. I got the IV, but they use numming spray so if any of you are scared about that don't be. I don't even remember falling asleep.

Sure my throat was a bit sore for a few days (I did have to stay overnight because I have asthma but was in the clear to go home the next morning) I was fine after that

i had surgery on my collarbone when i broke it two years ago, the doctors had to put a metal brace on the bone to put it back into place. it wasn't actually that scary, but it left a scar on my shoulder

I literally just got surgery on my shoulder and it didn't hurt at all during the surgery but after was a different story. That girl is so brave and so lucky she got to leave right after the surgery and get the iv out right away. And I don't blame her for being hungry lol!

I had my surgery when I was 7 years old . I did cried when I got my ingey*bnb but then I was I sleeping and I got to see my parents after 4 hours but it was only a small surgery so I was at home in just one week and I felt a lot better after my surgery

I got surgery 3 or 4 weeks ago it wasn't the funnest but you know I lived through it! My wrist still aches but I'm glad that it got done and over with! It was cool because when I fell asleep It felt like it had only been 5 minuets but it was actually 3 hours. I felt better when I got to see my mom 😀

I had my surgery at the hospital. They took off my wisdom teeth and everything. I felt so brave. And I woke up still in the operating room and I felt better. It was such a pretty good surgery. When I was 11, they gave me a surgery for putting tubes on my ears to relieve the pressure. It was pretty good.:)
When I went through surgery the first time with my tonsils, I couldn't cry laugh or speak because I couldn't breathe. 2nd time with my appendix, I was tired due to anesthetics. Both were painful.

Same I had overly enlarged infected tonsils and adenoids I had them both taken out last fall now I don't snore otlr have a sore throat every day but the recovery was terrible it took two weeks

I had surgery a couple of days ago and I’m still in the hospital recovering but it really wasn’t bad, I had magic air but it wasn’t flavoured (it smelt kinda bad but then it kinda smelt like cherries) and i started laughing and then I fell asleep!

I got my tonsils taken out when I was younger. I held my breath as long as I could but it was really awkward cuz my parents and the doctors were just staring at me the whole time. Eventually I fell asleep and when I woke up I threw up like 3 times.

When I got surgery, I had the magic air but I closed my eyes and it felt like I had blinked. Before I knew it, my mom was trying **cough** forcing **cough** a popsicle into my mouth. I didn’t wanna eat because the surgery was IN MY MOUTH!

I had never had surgery. But I did have a blood test it hurts so bad then I had a ultrasound it felt cold then I had a x ray of my hand I didn’t know why I kinda cried don’t laugh cause I’m a scaredy-cat lol
@@navyland2977 you are not a scaredy cat. When I was in hospital 2 years ago to have an x ray and blood test ,which results were that I had cancer, I was very stressed. You were probably upset and stressed if you didn't know what was happening. It is perfectly normal and nothing to be ashamed of.
