EZ. Just download Lunar IPS, then select the rom file and then the patch file, or vice versa depending on the order it's been a while since I patched anything. But I was playing patched rom hacks at 7 years old so it's pretty user friendly. The software will walk you through it. :)
I played this... and it's amazing. I have no idea how to get to the level that's over Yoshi's house, though. P.S. I have a starman theme using the sound engine for the game, in the style of SMB1's theme. I don't know how to hack music, but I can hack sprites of course!
I know you can't but please change the entire game's graphics. I don't want to see the levels anymore as they're before, but the good thing is that you can control better the game now.

It was never a nes game the bootleg ported to the nes the original came on the snes in 1991

I tried applying the patch and all I got was a grey screen. If you tried to enter a level, the game would glitch out.

Oh, didn't notice you fixed it, but you can slightly see parts backwards of you, like in SMB3.
