Absolutely amazing! Mrs. Twinkie' singing , writing, & playing ability is still mind boggling! Thanks for all of your hard work in gathering the songs & the keys!!!
Love those open Eb5s on Power and the E5s on My Soul Loves Jesus. And her vocals on Nothing Too Hard, Walking In The Spirit, He Keeps Me Company, Can't Get Enough Of Your Love, and Darkest Hour. Everybody knows she slays belts but her head voice though 😍😍😍 I *KNEW* it was her doing that high note in Jesus Forevermore! Slaychelle doing the Lord's work!
Thanks for this sampler! I'm shocked to see that I only recognize about half of these songs. I have to go scour the Clark Sisters'/Twinkie Clark discography!
Thank you 🙏🏾 It possibly could be Karen but what gave it away was the rasp. It's the same rasp Twinkie has at the (C#6) start of that F6 phrase at 28:41
@@arethasD6beltthat’s the same way I can tell all of their head voice notes apart. -Twinkie pushes more when she gets in the 6th octave. -Dorinda has a clear head voice but has distortion up there and it sometimes sounds shrill-ish. -Jacky has very clear head voice notes and it’s very loud and forceful but effortless at the same time. -Denises head voice is very clear and soft and that’s the overall sound and timbre of her voice -Karen’s head voice is clear but it comes out big because of the way she shapes her mouth and she uses a lot vibrato when she’s up there.
Hey! Can you make a vocal battle between Leona Lewis, Mariah Carey, Michelle Williams and Ariana Grande, but where you use head voice or maybe 1 clip each note? :D
I doubt she does them all as her sisters are definitely there too. Karen and Denise share lead at some points. Also forgot to add Twinkie’a notes from Awake O Zion 😩
Shon Mosley She is definitely on the tenor but I don’t know if she does ALLL of the harmonies. As well as her sisters, Twinkie also had other vocalists song backing and lead parts. Shirley Murdock for instance shares lead on My Soul Loves Jesus. There’s also a tenor who sounds like Daryl Coley on there
@@Slaychelle No. It's Marvin Winans. I have the record. It says Twinkie Clark that's why i said it's only her doing the harmonies on Zion lmaoo. On other records like his Yoke is easy she has Karen Clark and Shirley Murdock and Marvin Winans and member from the choir on the song My Soul Loves Jesus. The choir members sing on the beginning verse. Yet on Zion That's all Twinkie.
I think Twinkie noticeable high range is when she is leading a song...Her lower register is when she sings tenor as part of the harmony...I would guess she could be singing highs & lows in a song...Singing solo & the Harmony...because vocals are added to tracks where a singer can be doing both....
The best voice ever, and taught others how to use their voices
Her voice was needed ☝🏽...

Sang it, Twinkie!
Such a Powerful Voice!

Slaychelle doing the Lord's work!
I just wish that she used her head voice more even leading into the early 2000’s like Karen does
Her tone is immaculate......
Flawless.
Wow🤩! This was great🔥🔥🔥 I learned not only did Twinkie sing tenor and bass in there harmony she also sung the other parts!
Legendary genius of gospel music

And the editing at the end! Let's go!
Love myself some Twinkie❤️!
Thank you for this!!! Ughh this inspired me so much! Twinkie is a game changer fr!! 😭❤️
Would you say the 80’s and 90’s was her prime years? Her 80’s Vocal Range is just 🔥🔥🔥
She was always very accomplished and controlled, but she definately grew into the full potential of her voice in the 80s/90s.
Twinkie! ❤❤
Thank you. 🥰 6.7.2020
Got so much range had to make a 30 minute video 😍
The switching back and forth super quick loses me but I know her vocal range and Twinkie is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Also how could you tell that was Twinkie hitting that note in Jesus Forevermore? Your ear is impeccable-I always thought it was Karen 😭😂
Thank you 🙏🏾 It possibly could be Karen but what gave it away was the rasp. It's the same rasp Twinkie has at the (C#6) start of that F6 phrase at 28:41
@@Slaychelle correct if I'm ignorant but it almost sounds like it's approached differently than how Karen would've hit that kind of note.

I know this takes a lot of work and i really love these videos but do you think will be making a 90s and 2000s twinkie vocals video
Yes, they will come...live ones too :)
@@Slaychelle 🙌🙌👏👏👏
Plss can we get one for Jackie 🙏🏽🙏🏽

Are you going to do a 90s one and so on
Definitely a Falcon soprano
Somebody said she was a spinto
@@thechristianteen9167 she fits Falcon more than a spinto. No doubt she's a soprano just a lower placed one
@@Jay2k2323 can you explain the differences
Nah. Listen to her duet with Lashun. This ain't no falcon (which was never even a real classification to begin with), or spinto. Normal lyric sop.
@@KajiVocals i still need someone to explain the differences. Twinkie still has a big voice though.
Is her highest belt overall (including live and studio) in her whole career a Bb5?
I found a recent live C6 squall
Slaychelle omgggg where’s the video ?!
DJ Someone posted it on the The Clark Sisters fan Facebook group. She’s singing Word of God
Here's the video she hits it at 31:46

What song is at 3:23 ?
Jesus is a Love Song from the Heart and Soul album
