@18:28 will go down as one of the greatest commentaries from MB. Had me absolutely dying for 10mins. Went into an acid laughter meltdown. Legit almost made me quit skating.
Holy sh@t, footage of jon ortiz, tim ward and roadhouse skating at "third floor"?! How am I just seeing that for the first time now? and more ISS stuff, lots of A'dam footage in this. cheers guys thanks for another fun watch
Good history/nostalga, best suited to a rainy day not a hype before a skate like some of the newer ones… I think slow grabbed backslides should be a thing 😂 Thanks for doing these again ❤
Review suggestion. Salomon - Focused. I think the editing is masterful, great soundtrack and one of the greatest skate videos made. But it’s completely forgotten about
haha, in the Espionage video when you asked for requests I was going to post Nickel N Dime but couldn't as was on a plane. Must have been some mushroom magic floating around there up at 30,000 ft.
other vert riders were Joe Ackler(christ makio/720), Jay Nakahara(steezy sould grind), and Eddie Campos. The girl was not Kelly Mathews - was Jay Nakahara's girlfriend at the time...
I think it just looked kooky at this time because nobody could move around with any finesse. Everybody knew how to get on to grinds but nobody could actually skate. I don't think I saw even 1 competent crossover the whole video lol.
Bro we had the fundamentals down in the 90s, we were skating pre-grind etc. It's the kids in the peak that came in that went straight to grinds but couldn't skate backwards.. there is also definitely era's of style..
@@plarks-guddaboyz This IS the peak. These ARE the kids that went straight to grinds but cant skate backwards. It's plain as day, pretty much nobody in this video can actually skate around competently.
The one kid that kept popping up in the video is Harold Vivas from New York, He still skates too. Funny commentary on this lol.
Hey guys … I’m that kid that did the BS to porn lol such a fun day skating with all the pros in the banks . Love the commentary:-)

lol "he looks like he owns a company, we need to get jackets like that" | great commentary moment!

This one was in heavy rotation in Nor-Cal.

love watching old videos with you guys! keep em comin!
Nickel & dime, Hoax 2, and Quest for the Holy Grail were the tapes passed around in my circle
For me it was Nickel, Holy Rail (my favorite, or should I call it 'the butters'?) and Uncommon Ground.

So fuccin kooky but was such a important phase for rollerblading lol
21:00 an endless playlist of shitty scar 😂 cracked me up
Pretty sure the vert guy in Bauers with the camo pants was Matt Lindenmuth
Vert rider was Matt Lindenmuth @23:27
Totally makes sense now that I see that 540 again.
other vert riders were Joe Ackler(christ makio/720), Jay Nakahara(steezy sould grind), and Eddie Campos. The girl was not Kelly Mathews - was Jay Nakahara's girlfriend at the time...
Joey snapping his finger to sync his future self
Joe Dead-er-ento killed me hahaha it's Dedentro 😂

I can't wait until these guys are 80 laughing at the youth.
