I like how much you give play tips during the games. While other streamers can be just as entertaining to watch. I feel like you've helped me become a better player the most.
The biggest tension with this deck has always been the artifact portion. Maybe if we drop the wurmlet, add in cacophony scamp and maybe fit some number of monstrous rages? I've also always hated the 2 drop green artifact as it is either very good or very bad. Might be too different of a deck after that though.
I loved watching that last match. My favorite games are ones where I'm heavily unfavored, because it makes my lines of play much more clear. You gotta play to your outs and get a little lucky if you're the underdog, simple as that. So going for that attack into Glissa made total sense.
My change to this deck would be taking out some conbination of hydras andc cauldrons for kumanos. Extra speed and does still work with the counter theme well. I also feel like a picnic ruiner or two would work nicely.
I've been rocking Cauldron, Thrill Seeker, Beastmaster since cauldron came out. I use Kami for mana with cauldron, and plansewalkers Wren & Realmbreaker and Nissa for engine and make sweepers bad. Ozolith is a trap card.
Good suggestion I'm gonna try it. Sentinel is nice for map tokens since the wormlets gain death touch once you control 3 artifacts. Plus the wormlets gain 1 life for each first artifact that enters per turn, which has been helpful sometimes
How does this deck not run bristly bill , spine sower even if it's not great as a four of it seems like having access to his effect so you can do something like play him turn seven with a spire out play a land and activate his ability he'd be 7/7 and double counters anywhere you got them. That's pretty impactful for a two drop
There's just too much good cheap interaction in the format to justify these linear aggressive strats. Generally, unless there is a busted aggro card floating around (embercleave, ferocidon, hellrider or a lot of cheap face burn legal), the more cards in a format the worse aggro gets and the better midrange, control and combo becomes. Stil, this deck can potentially do unfair things. The main issue is that after the first two removal spells and the first sweeper, you're generally in topdeck mode and drawing Iron apprentices while your opponents deploy their busted 4+ mana card of choice that you can't really beat. The very definition of a glass cannon. Superbly fun game day\fnm deck, but I don't think sleeving this up for 5+ round events is gonna be a good idea.

I say, well I say you got no flings in the deck! **Look at the audience** Poor boy ain't too bright trying to throw creatures without a spell what to actually throw. Heh heh.

Kind words, thanks!
I agree that's also why I enjoy watching Reid. Both intelligent players with a ton of high level experience.
@@ericshort5963 I like watching reid for the 9+ hour jund tournament streams where he fools everyone into thinking tarmogoyf is still playable.
Big agree on that one here, learning from Jim helped bring me to Mythic when I still played a lot.
wtf 2D Jim thumb! Pog!

I love the Ozolith effect decks. Hardened Scales is a hugh fav of mine. Love the build, Jim!
There's a Naya build out there too you might also enjoy
Play cards and turn them. Simple and effective (sometimes).
Also happy Mother's Day Nicole. Hope it's a good one.
First oppo playing crockeys sultai deck, it's a great deck in his hands anyway 😂

2D Jim is little bit uncanny

Feels like there should be some Bristly Bill's, maybe replacing Ginger? a more relaible counter generator and a mana sink
thanks jim
Wow, pretty early here. I really like creatures decks, good stuff.
This is my fave deck in standard bar none. I like the hydra + ginger synergies, but hydra being Yet Another Lockdown-able threat feels rough
@ 16:10 - why sac Beastcaller before attacking?
Watched half the video, spent 5 wildcards, won matches.
Ggs in the last match! Unfortunate mulligans...
I took thrillseeker out for 4 Lightning strike. Gives it much better game.
Whale tribal confirmed
Would ornery tumblewag be good enough for this deck? I feel like its better then sentinel in this

@@JonReid01 sentinel is better against removal because of the etb but tumblewag adds power faster

All you had to do was sac after combat. Math is hard tho I get it lol
16:08 you had it just lost 1 pt of damage by not letting beastcaller connect
Jim Belushi
Woot
