Is anyone else really struggling to know what to play with rotation looming? So many decks involve decent investment and who knows if they’ll survive rotation
Are there any ways to abuse the Bat God/Invasion combo? We have one free sack outlet with Bart' Del Presidio, but is there a Blood Artist effect legal in standard? I can't think of any off the top of my head.
big rips would work, but he’s expensive with no good way to cheat him out, and elias il-kor is just a blood artist plus soul sister. i remember saffronolive going infinite with bart, elias, and 4 copies each of the blue and black gods. not a good deck but pretty funny
Is Esper really hated that much? Or am I just an enigma? Because, I have been killing it with Esper ever since I got into it. I loved Azorius, I loved Orzhov and I really dig Dimir. So, why not combine em?
@@chrisf9156 I never got into the tournament aspect, and I am learning now, just how many esper decks have been going into them. - So, I can understand the sentiment, after learning that. When I started, people were using this cat chariot thing...A lot. Guess when it comes down to it, if it works, a pro player is not going to switch based upon popularity of the cards in which they utilize.
I wasn't sold on the hype around No More Lies compared to Make Disappear and the more I see of it the less I believe in it. When the 3 mana tax is effective the 2 mana tax on Make Disappear is generally going to be equivalent. When the 3 mana tax is bad, though, it's often a place where the sac and copy 4 mana tax of Make Disappear would continue to work. Obviously the decks that are running this are avoiding running any of the many incidental creature making cards that are currently in the format but that just seems like trying to make a bad deck work rather than making use of the cards that have proven themselves effective.
I love how he said "don't leave" in less than five seconds
some people hate dimir, some people hate azorius
and of course, everyone hates esper 😂
I love esper :)
@@쓸모없는파충류 I hate connive.
Love the soundbite at 16:00!
The soundboard is a hoot, love the content!
that first game was so rough lmao - welcome to the stream!
Loved Cassie's participation.

At this point you could probably just wait if money is tight

There’s Vrann but he only triggers only once each turn and there’s also elia el kor
@@yoyoguy1st El Kor is probably it then. Probably not enough to make a deck out of it.

Dude is preparing for Rotation
No Raffine? I see it right there in your deck overview.
Raffine's Tower, that is.

It's just overplayed

Turns out Rafine and Sheoldred are not over rated lmao
I don’t know how they won with this deck lol
You talk about bat being bad by itself. Didn’t kitesail freebooter see play and it had limited synergy? Bat is much better than that
Freebooter mostly saw play in Modern Humans where it’s body and type mattered a lot
Didn't Freebooter mainly see play in Modern Humans? Also, the power level was a lot lower back then.
I thought it saw standard play. 🤷🏻♂️ alright
@@duaneshaffer4427 Isnt this the biggest standard has ever been though? Its hard to be a good standard card when standard has so many sets in it.

Honestly this was one of the worst decks I've ever seen 😂
Esper is dead.
