A really cool base location that I'm using is 49.2 lat and 51.1 long ,what makes this base location awsome is its inside a little ravine and u can build walls around u easily ,it is a place worth checking out the only down side is 65%wind and u might have creatures fall in but rarely

Hey Phlinger im on Ps5 and ive been playing scorched earth since it came out but i decided to go back to the island to tame up an O. Raptor but now i cant respawn into my base and i cant ride my dinos either. Any ideas
It might be "broken", but I only have a single wind turbine as power source in a 40% wind zone and never witnessed a lack of power in single player. With fridge+cryo-fridge running 100% of the time, I try to switch of every other power drain, but sometimes I forget the industrial grill and I'm not sure if it uses power without fresh meat inside. I also had all industrial buildings (fabricator, grinder, chem bench + grill) running simultaneously without a problem. If the power is off 60% of the time, I would expect much more spoilage in the fridge or the cryopods not at 100% charge. Maybe all buildings have a kind of "battery" and a 40% wind turbine is sufficient for a single user to keep them topped of? Or lack of power only applies to (dedicated) servers? Please for-science this...
How do you build near ruins?? You show several, but when I try to do anything there it doesn't allow it, and I can't figure out if it's a setting I change
5:50-55. WTF DID HE JUST SAY?..... I'm dying right now because I'm laughing to tears on every horrible awesome Syfy movie ever done on some sort of landshark but also tremendously horrified that my @$$ is getting tagged by the inland Bruce lol
I had such a milestone in getting enough crystal and engram points to build a toilet... I decorated my bathroom and got it all perfect .... And when I went to make my first batch of fertilizer, and tried to get up, I ended up INSIDE THE TOILET and had to eat spoiled meat to end myself and drag my corpse out of the toilet... I dunno if it's in the wrong place or what but I'm sad about it lol cuz my Lymantria barely had the weight to carry my ass and all that crystal!
The spot you are standing on was my original base location UNTIL my dinos kept coipping into the rocks. Tried a cave next, even worse my dinos were below the map now. Tried "flat ground" and even still clipping. Come to realize no where is safe and Ark is jank...
Phlinger must be desperate for content because finding a spot for a base on a PVE server is not something people need help with. There is no journey of discovery. youtubers have all the answers to the questions nobody will ever ask.
@@timothymoronczyk8972 You know what makes a good base? Location doesn't make a base. Awesome bases are made in the dumbest spots and they work fine, if the player is good. Location is not important, right?
Skill issue is not the problem here. I would imagine it’s that people don’t want to waste their time looking for spots when they have to work jobs. While RUclipsrs literally have all day to find the spots for you.
@@torkpenderloin hahaha. the work excuse. a classic. adorable. Finding a base is part of the gameplay loop. Asking tubers about base locs is not part of the gameplay loop.

for any console users, in order to pop up that menu to see wind power you need to press the double square circle, hold it and activate extended hud
