I have the same allergy you have and finally went to Stanford Medical Center. I was told that placing your bedding, mattress pads, pillows, quilts, etc. in the dryer on high heat for 40 min., should kill the dust mites. This procedure has worked for me. Also vacuuming under your bed twice a week to get rid of the dust and dust mites is a necessity. Using a higher grade air filter in your room is helpful as well.

I always never miss watching you at 10 o'clock on Sunday mornings like clock work but just now watching you at almost 4 o'clock if there is a friend in need im there my neighbor who has been through alot I have been worried about due to health issues and some depression due. To passing of father and mom's health plus she is a hoarder and she admitted it so the past two weekends I've offered to help her with her garage and if you have ever worked with someone who is a hoarder it's not easy but you just try to do the best you can for them. As you know Jamie that's what I do professionally is clean homes and organizing but when it's a friend and you just offer your help your basically there for moral support and you tried lightly it's hard to see her stressed

I love you video this week. My son (9) and daughter (7) have had cough for a least 3 weeks no other symptoms act like they are feeling fine just a cough. Hi Jamie! Have you considered getting a wooden bed frame? We switched and it helps my allergies sooo much and more hygienic!! Then we just use a body pillow if we want to sit up in bed ! Just a thought to help !
Yes I have! I wanted to make smaller changes first and the changes that were the most cost-effective before I have to move on to bigger purchases like a new bedframe! But it’s something I’m thinking about!

Hey Jamie!!! Wonderful job on the dust mite situation!!! Just a thought.....I move my bed every other week and vacuum under and at the head of the bed and vacuum the edges up there and the trim. It helps a lot!!! It's crazy how much stuff (hair and dead skin cells) gets to the head of the bed. Just a thought. On the off weeks that I don't move the bed, I scoot the mattress down a bit and am able to get the vacuum up there a bit. It's a lot of work I know

No it doesn’t especially today we are expecting it to be like 80 and tomorrow. The weather here is so crazy. One day we are wearing sweaters and the next it’s too warm out for that. I completely forgot about the snow last year. We were at Texas Roadhouse and that snow was coming down good!!

Sometimes I just look at the mess and decide to tackle it another day. I'm definitely going with lighter everything in my next house. Every year for Halloween, my city throws a block party where people dress in costumes and walk around to the different bars. Its so much fun to see how creative people get with their costumes. Your girls playing "Ghost in the Graveyard" brought back childhood memories for me. I love your quick meals. You are definitely my favorite creator.😊
I enjoy watching while washing dishes. I work at a food bank ones a month and I don’t know if you know this or not but I wanted to share there is a recall on all pancake mixes .
Happy Sunday ❤. Sounds like the twins have seasonal allergies. I am always coughing this time of year. When I was younger I had asthma brought on by seasonal allergies. I have since grown out of it so they say…. Hopefully they grow out of it as well. My Mom always ran a humidifier with Vicks in my bedroom at night to help me sleep and it did help. Now I use a little Vicks on my neck and chest and it seems to calm the cough. I try not to use any OTC meds as I had done in the past and it turned into bronchitis.
Hi Jamie! I love your videos. Just wanted to drop a note and let you know about a dusting product I discovered. They're called Coral Fleece cloths. I found mine at TJ Maxx and they work so good!! I don't know how come nobody ever mentioned them to me but WOW. Same concept as microfiber but they're way softer and fluffier and they really hold onto the dust! Probably never going back to anything else now to be honest. FYI anyone else that's reading this they work great. Have a good week! I eagerly wait for your videos to post. 🙂

I tried the chicken noodle soup recipe you had in one of your older videos and it was quite good! I think at that time, the twins (just babies!!) either had colds or were getting over them. Anyway, I tried it out because we needed a soup here but the canned stuff has all that sodium which I'm trying to cut back on. I like that vacuum!! I think I like it mostly for the self emptying dust cup!

Happy Sunday ❤. Sounds like the twins have seasonal allergies. I am always coughing this time of year. When I was younger I had asthma brought on by seasonal allergies. I have since grown out of it so they say…. Hopefully they grow out of it as well. My Mom always ran a humidifier with Vicks in my bedroom at night to help me sleep and it did help. Now I use a little Vicks on my neck and chest and it seems to calm the cough. I try not to use any OTC meds as I had done in the past and it turned into bronchitis.

Hi Jamie! I love your videos. Just wanted to drop a note and let you know about a dusting product I discovered. They're called Coral Fleece cloths. I found mine at TJ Maxx and they work so good!! I don't know how come nobody ever mentioned them to me but WOW. Same concept as microfiber but they're way softer and fluffier and they really hold onto the dust! Probably never going back to anything else now to be honest. FYI anyone else that's reading this they work great. Have a good week! I eagerly wait for your videos to post. 🙂

Happy Sunday!!! Much of my household is getting over bad colds so your videos are right on time for a good house deepclean/reset! I tried the chicken noodle soup recipe you had in one of your older videos and it was quite good! I think at that time, the twins (just babies!!) either had colds or were getting over them. Anyway, I tried it out because we needed a soup here but the canned stuff has all that sodium which I'm trying to cut back on. I like that vacuum!! I think I like it mostly for the self emptying dust cup!

As far as vacuums go, i still have my old Kirby and it's so far superior to my Shark. I love my Shark too, I've also had a Dyson that I loved

Hi Jamie so for the girls I suggest chewable vitamin c. It may help with their cough. Also tea will help. One in the morning one at night. Though it could be because of flu season too 😂.
