Great comprehensive overview of the goat world. I learned some things! I’ll have to watch this again make some notes. The info on worm load is invaluable. You covered everything, wow!
Thank you! I’m glad it was helpful! I should have added- join some groups with other goat owners. They’re a wealth of information and support. But the famacha is something you 100% need to know with goats or sheep.
@@onlygoatsfarm went online last night and looked at a lot of Famacha photos and sites to do the certification. Will be out looking at all of my ladies eyes this afternoon. I like the Herd Boss app but I wish I could find a more comprehensive homesteading app to track all of my different species of animals, along with a place to write gardening and harvest notes etc. So far I can’t find one that checks all of the boxes.
How many goats do you already have?
WOW AMAZING VIDEO VERY EDUCATIONAL 👍 👍👍
This was awesome information! Thank you so much. We are new homesteaders and are looking into goats, this much so helpful!
You’re welcome! I’m glad it was helpful and didn’t scare you away! They’re totally worth it, but with any livestock you need to learn about them!

@@southwesthomestead1234 that’s the best one I could find. But they do have a section for sheep and cows too
